• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just finished the JCR weekend, all the events that I've done that Erek has been involved with were friendly fun and challenging and very well run.

Hey Guys,
I am looking at racing the Pro Am at Glen Helen between Christmas & New Years. Its a 3 day event, SX, MX and a GP. Just using to get some seat time. I am also planning on the Baja 500 next year. Was supposed to do last year but job situation would not allow.
I have 2 of Zip Tys bikes, a 09 TXC 510 and a 09 TC450 ready to go.
I am up for a ride.

John I'm too dumb of a rider to do timekeeping.....I cant focus on time when I'm riding. But I will still sign for them and just ride the course and try to stay behind the guys in the rows in front. Looks like another Anza enduro in the spring!! Hope its a qualifier but if not I'm in anyway!! Gorman 2 day In also. hope to hit Idaho enduro finally, this coming year too. See ya at the races/rides!!

For Husky racers in the Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico area the WEBE race series is awesome. Lots of variety in terrain from pure desert sand dunes and sand washes to rocky single track on a ski hill to river crossings through aspen forests. We also get a pretty good amount of racers from Arizona, Utah and Texas.

webe looks like a great organization. There's also CORCS and RMEC for Colorado. Since supermoto was a slight mention here Colorado has a great series. coloradosupermoto.com

There is also an ice racing series in Woodland Park if anyone is looking for something to race this winter.

RMEC is also a good series. Haven't raced a RMEC event in a while, but I did quite a few a couple years back. I might have to give that ice racing series a shot this winter.

Have never raced a corcs event so i couldn't say. Valley dirt riders does a good winter series at the track in berthoud that is pretty fun. Mix of trails and mx course.

For my money though i prefer the webe series. Much more centrally located than rmec. Entire race staff is super friendly and helpful. If you're looking at getting into some races i highly suggest webe.

Srac is also good if you wanna try some mx.
