  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Swapping ECU from other Husky to TE510 / 2008. Is it possible ?

AnubisXRV

AA Class
Hello everyone.

I wanted to ask whether it is possible to connect the ECU from another Husqvarna.
My original ECU has been "opened" by my brother: / which resulted scratchy electrical paths. I will try to fix my ECU, but I wonder if there is an alternative.

The motorcycle has blinded lambda and exhaust RP.

My Husky TE 510 is i.e., 2008.

Greatly thank you for any hint.

Regards and sorry if something is not clear because Google Translate helps me :)

Okay, so after a week of searching and comparing part numbers. Seems to be that the TE module 510 has the same number as the ECU TE / SM 630. At least the initial numbers are the same.

On the web I found only one such unit in the US. At the last moment, full of despair, I saw a photo of the ECU on the site in my country. I called and the seller immediately said that it will not fit the TE510. However, I asked for the number of ECUs. After a few hours I got the info from guy with the magic number (
at least I hope: /) 8000B0564.

Next week I'm going home, to Huski standing alone, thinking that I abandoned her.

We'll see what comes of it all.

Best regards and let you know about the progress or lack of them.

Hi mate,

2008 TE510 ECU: 8000B0564

A lot of initial numbers on Husqvarna parts are the same. 8000 (followed by the product code).

There are some trouble with swap 08 and 09/10 year ECU unit also. My sm450 09 don't work with te450 08 ECU, dashboards has different pin. Without the dashboard it will work maybe

Hey Eric.

Exactly as you wrote, the ECU 8000B0564(I called that initial) is in the TE 510/2008 (first post, my original module). In the next post, the same number of TE 630/2010 (module I bought). Hmmm, we'll see.

mr. Skin
You changed the ECU with the same part number? TE 450/2008 was also 8000B0564. For the SM 450/2009 shows 8000H0596. Damn them all ...
Anyway. Do you handled in some other way?

I salute you guys.

So yesterday strapped unit of TE 630. The pump relay started to work. The pump is pumping. No injection error as before. There is a light in the tunnel. At the moment I am waiting for pulse coil.It has not revealed anything when measured with a multimeter. So still no spark. Greets...

The spark came after replacing the coil. I wonder if launching 510 on maps and the composition of the air fuel mixture for 630 mechanically will not damage anything in the engine?

Leaving aside the question of sparks. pulser coil comes from the Polaris ATV and should be of sufficient size.

Width: 21.8 mm
Lentgth: 18.1 mm
Height: 25 mm
Number of wires: 2
Pink / Red is White = 100 ohms +/- 20%
Bracket center to center: 35 mm

OEM / Replacement numbers:

3085360
3089254
31120-KA3-761
31120-KA4-761
32150-05D00
32160-27C00
31100-KA5-761
32101-32E00
3084974
3086860
3086238

............................................

Thus, in some cases, instead of paying for the entire stator we have the opportunity to exchange the pulser (I paid about $ 35).

Another update.

The engine fired, idling worked for about a minute then fired in the exhaust pipe and died. Later no longer has launched .I am sure that the ECU needs other maps, adjusting O2 and TPS.

Greets.

The previous cause engine stalling was blow out an additional fuel filter in the tank. So far, motorcycle rides on the module 630 without changing maps. I can only say that the driving characteristics seems to be slightly different. In the future, I compare it with other maps .HB.jpg
