  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE 250 2010 (x-lite) + 12 hole injector?!

Hello

I'm portuguese but in my country do not have a lot of husqvarnas, so to resolve my problems it's another problem :(

My bike it's great on hight rpm's but, in low rpm's run's not very well...

I read in other post's in forum the problem can be solved with 12 hole injector port (Kawasaki injector), that is correct? I need only the injector or i need more parts?
I have a stock bike, without db killer and that other parts u makes bike limited...

I tell you that question because if only changing the injector solve my problem, now i will buy im.

Tanks for help-me :-/

You want the race ecu and 12 port injector. I bought it from Halls Cycles. Im sure they can ship to you.

Oh sorry saw it now 2010, yes the 12 port injector does help some but the ECU is hard to locate sometimes but is required. Even with it, these bikes still like to be in the 5-6000 rpm range. But it was a huge improvement in power delivery on my 11 310. The G2 throttle tamer helped a bit with the jerking at low speeds

If you want just to try a cheap fuel injector, there's one in Germany on eBay. Here's a link http://goo.gl/AoAv4j It has the same markings on it as my TCXi 250 injector.

so.. it's secure for the engine if i change only the injector?! or is important change injector + ecu? i can adjust the EFI with the Ibeat ( you teach me how to do that ;) ).... Conclusion... If i change only the injector and make ajusts with the Ibeat, i see results and is secure?

Tnks for helpme

From everything I've read, just the injector will probably not be good. The computer thinks it is the lower flowing 4 hole and makes the 12 hole flow too much fuel. I don't know if iBeat has enough adjustment range to correct it. I have no practical experience doing this as my TXC250 came with the 12 hole injector and the better ECU. But if you don't mind experimenting, you can try and report back.
