  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE310 2013 set up ?

BigBug

Husqvarna
B Class
Acquired a slightly used 2013 TE 310 . Has hi flow air filter cage ; O2 sensor removed ; Catalyst removed ; 6 inch exhaust plug ; 15/48 gearing . No manual for bike .
Engine hunts at idle and low rpm and flames out under throttle opening at low rpm .
Questions
1 : How can one determine what map is installed ?
2 : Is there a connector behind the headlight to change the map ?
3 : Is the stock ECM reprogrammable to any degree ? ( Kehine )
4 : If in a #2 map is the O2 sensor required or does it no longer matter ?

Been reading all the back and forth info on TPS settings so looking for clarification on the above questions .
Any info on the above questions appreciated . Please note :: 2013 TE 310
Thank you

1. Take it to a husky shop and they plug in.
2. Yes, connector is behind the headlight.
3. Three maps are available and you'll need the shop to load your desired map.
- 1, Stock, emissions map.
- 2, full power map - works ok with all the emissions stuff removed.
- 3, Open pipe map - for open muffler. (This is the best option even with stock muffler)
4. O2 sensor only required for emissions map

15/48 gearing won't be doing the bike any favours. 13/50 is optimal or just get a 13 and use 13/48.
