• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

"Keep It Simple Stupid" stuff that I have recently dealt with, 1 the footpegs from my 1999 TE610 are the same as my 04TC450,06TE450 and 08TXC450, which also equals a lot if not every other models (except, Im sure the minis). Unlike other brands that constantly change things unnessessarily.
2 the 8mm ID chain rollers, a 2000 CR125 is the same as my 2008 TXC450, again which I am sure are the same as all the other models. Compatability makes it much easier to manage parts.

For sure. I put 510 pegs on my 630. They're a direct fit, and I got a more aggressive footpeg. No cutting, filing, grinding, cussing or beer drinking required.

The 610/630 is kind of a bastard child, though. There aren't many parts from the smaller bikes that will fit.

So far on my wr125-tc250 air filters, bearings, seals, brakes, sprocket, wheels and many more parts interchange.

The other thing that this means is that in a few years from now there will be better parts availability.:)

I put the pegs off my wr125 on my 630 also. Good improvement. Put a longer wr250 throttle cable on my wr125. Air filters stocked by the dealers since they fit so many models - I always had to order them and wait with the three KX I had. WR250 graphics fit my WR125 with just a bit of trimming. Gotta love it.

I swapped wheels with an 08 TE 450 and a 11 TE 250. axles are different but as long as I keep them with the right wheels everything works out.
