• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anybody have any idea of which Legends are showing up this year?, don't see a list yet,
like last year on their web page.

I have a solution ! We will just go there and see !

Trying to figure how to get more bikes up there this year. Want to bring three. (got to get them done first)

If anyone is halfway from texas to New York State. Let me know.

On my way to Diamond Dons this weekend. And no its no Unadilla.

you only need to take 2 if your like me! 1 to ride is enough to put me in a deck chair with life support (esky , cooler beer, food, holder etc) and a spare if the first one don't run!:)

hopefully it's not a mud fest like last years was.

Ok ok now hear this ! Husky John. Yes mud dried up for Sun. But of course their was a problem.

I watched Guy Cooper take the inside line on front straight many times on Sat. on muddy line No problem right. So after my bad start I mean bad.

I took that line and hit full on third gear and front stuck and washed out. Did a nice Horizontal flying W in front of about 30 people I know.
Landed there in about 4 inches of water you can't see and laid in water for while to rest ! Next to track. I am fine except for few bruised ribs and ego for a former Michigan mud
rider.

I slowly raced/rode the second moto, but don't make me laugh now.

how we would loved to have been a go pro on the fence.....:D heal well my sore friend...pay homage to the front tyre gods and you will be ok

Gary,
I did a real nice flying W at Unadilla 2 years, coming in the 2nd turn, don't know how I stayed on the bike, but
did. Boy did I feel it a few days later, all good & we lived to tell the story, heal up my friend.
