• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

User's manual download (not service manual)

Is that the shop manual? If so, I got a printed version of that with my bike. I was hoping there was something more detailed out there - like a real shop manual. Anyone seen something else?

No, it's the user manual, not the service manual. The service manual is 154 page PDF, available from your dealer.

Hi,does anyone know the torque values for reinstalling front wheel. It has been taken off for transport from retailer...I need to put it back together at Transport Depot before I ride it?
I will keep searching the net meantime...Thanks Lots

Does anybody have a link, or a download of the Owner's manual for the TR650? I was not able to get one from my Dealer and I haven't been able to locate one online yet.

I have the Parts and Service manuals for the bike. I'm expressly looking for info on the dash system functions etc.

Hi, I just got a 2013 TR650 Strada and I'm enjoying the heck out of it! however the previous owner did not have any manual documents (digital or otherwise). I was able to find the service manual online but not the User's Manual. Could you send it to me? Thank you in advance!

The above link leads to the 154 page so called workshop manual from Husqvarna in Netherlands, but some time ago I found a better more comprehensive manual.
The full Husqvarna Manufacturers Workshop Manual in English and all 301 Pages is available from following the link in this page:

Get it and keep it !!

If anyone would be happy to host the files on their dropbox/ google drive or such and allow public access,
I'd need about 110mb space and authority to upload the complete service manual (yes, the full-sized 300page file), the multi-lingual owners manual, the full parts manual, various electrical
diagrams for ABS/ non-ABS models, bearing charts and whatever else I've got floating around.
Files are pdf's and a couple of jpg's.

Consequent download links don't have to be published but can be passed on "under the table".
This way there would almost always be someone around here who knows the download locations of good, complete + clean files
when some request or mention gets posted.

Contact me via pm or email if you can help.

Good idea.

Could be done with Dropbox I think. That allows sharing of a link to a folder or to a zip file with the lot IIRC.

I'll look into it.

You've got all the files glitch?

Yeah, where?
I know there's a couple of links on this site inc to different versions of the workshop manual - neither version is exactly complete.

No good to publish download-links as those are routinely grabbed and activated over and over by search bots / spiders etc.
Who ever hosts the file will have sizeable data-traffic generated by bots and to no benefit to anyone but Google, to
include them in search results which links in return get gobbled by Yahoo/ DuckDuck and whoever else.
Any published link will crash+burn within a month, latest.
The reason dropbox (and many others) limits 3.party downloads to 200kb or so...while the account owner has access to the whole files.

This can only work on a personal-request basis, therefore the "under-the-table" tag.
