• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Well here is Rd10 of the NHHA. The Husky CR 300 worked so well and we got a win. This will now give me a National # 2 for 2015 in the 50 A Expert class
I really want to thank
Walt smith for the new motor it works perfect
Moose Racing for all the gear and hard parts
MC Superstore for the Helmet and other parts
Zip Ty Racing Just about everything and the new Golden Tyres
FMF my pipe
Smith Goggles
Enforce Tire soap and Industrial products
Jeff at Halls Cycle for always having the parts I need
Leath shoulder pads personal safety gear and drink systems
Factory Husky team Jake A and his mechanic Charlies for words of advise and pit support

Congrats on the win and on the new bike doing the job .... I'm trying to watch all this vid now .... I gotta say, you guys got the cool pit-stops with the fuel fill-up devices and goggles guy and such :) ... Is there a speed limit in that area or are you just ~resting pulling in?

Not finished watching yet but you ate that 4fittys' lunch starting at the 6:05 mark ... You put that 450 in the shade and he is right in his wheelhouse? ... It looked like a big, heavy slow bike as you reeled him in and drove off from his stuck bike... Its an advertising DOC for 2t bikes :)

You had a few other moments where you were kicking everyone off the hill till you got up it first ... One bike might have been a ktm (5:30 mark) and that one where that rider just lost traction and caused someone to laugh out loud.

Are you hitting 70MPH out there?

We have to go 15 mph in the pits Got a good line up that hill and made a 3 bike pass. then the pass where I laugh was when I passed my friend john he is 30 and we always seem to have a battle some where on the course. I get to rub it in that a old man passed him
The Pass at min 9.14 was against current points leader and # 1 plate holder in the desert for 2015 50a He is on a new YZ 450 with Ohliens ft and rd . nice guy and super fast. I had the 300 pinned I hate going that fast I much rather ride in the rocks. As for rocks and sand the new Zip Ty Racing Golden Fatty Tyre eats it up no problem I how have 2 races and 2 wins with that tyre

On the start that is Ricky barbec current National overall National # 1 for 2015 off to my left.
Then the pass 8 seconds in is Current National overall # 2 for 2015 Former Factory Husky racer now a Beta rider Mr Nic Burson. As you can see I got a great start but there is no way I could ever go as fast as they do. It is just honor to line up between them

Great ride John. I hope you can place the Ohlins stuff onto your new TE(TC)300......
I was going to have Danny stuff me a 216AA for Tecate, but I relented for now, I all ready had a Scorp ready to mount. Plus I want to ride the bike with my standard wheel safter the ZipTy suspension updates

70 easily in some spots, John's bike definitly does 70...ask me how I know.
when I used to be fast I had my TE610 pinned in 6th it was pulling ke bed during a AMA D38 dez race (thats somewhere near 90mph) the Pros are hitting triple digits in the open stuff.
