• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

What bike(s) does this rack fit?

turtlemoye

Husqvarna
AA Class
I noticed this for sale recently but the seller doesn't know what bike it came off of. I would prefer an aluminum rack but if it fits and I can get it for the right price I might jump.

I had one on my TE510, you'll also need the aluminum sub mount & mounting hardware (nuts, bolts, spacers)that appears to be included, but hard to tell from just that picture. Part # 16

Rufus, did you find it useful. Assuming it is complete what would you think a fair price would be?

At one time I had 3 of them & gave 2 away for nothing, just the cost of shipping. I've seen them for sale used at around $20 to $40.00. It did work quite well & gave me a decent hand hold to move the bikes ass end around when empty. A lot stronger than I initially thought. I'll be remounting mine soon & adding some footman loop's to the rear fender itself with some aluminum backing plates to make tying up cargo a bit easier. Try calling some of the dealers. From what I heard many were left behind because the bike buyer didn't want them, same with passenger pegs. It's worth a shot. Check to see if you already have the mounting bracket, if not, you will need one, so consider total cost before making a decision.

P.S. also check Supermoto junkies website, I recall seeing a few for sale there pretty cheap, but that was a few years ago, ya never know.
