• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Who makes this pipe ?

GaryM

Husqvarna
AA Class
Seen a batch of these on website in France - he does not have any
had them for 250s and 430s 269_image.jpg

This looks like its on one of Andy's bikes.

Welding looks great if its the technique I think it is.

Advised to me by owner circle F pipes

Would like to know ?? May want a 250 and a 430 version open to 81/82 frame or 83/84 frame style

First want is for a 81/82 250 frame!

Gary, be patient please...am waiting for an answer from my French friend.....He is going to ask price and availabilty.......

I will call the factory asking if they can make a specific exaust for old Huskys and how much for that.

Those have to be made. Would consider. But based on recent feedback - in regards to getting a Maico pipe. Pipe came back different than ordered. Wanted torque and got something different and not even the same as this RPM pipe he already owns? He is unsure completely ! so when would you get back ?

May take two months or 5 months

And they do not make a 250 pipe which we want also.

I also would consider a Geoff Morris pipe again if he is back to health and could make a 250 but we would need
a bike in his shop down under is Australia.

you can prob organise something with Geoff, plenty of bikes about for a model. I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he was coming good so back to work...

For a little fun check out the August 2016 Dirt Bike magazine page 24. Somebody took a Stock Stamped Pipe and Welded some rings around it and its now a " Masterpiece " in an effort to make it look like a hand made pipe. Well its a piece anyway and had I done it I would be speechless too.

I too spoke to Geoff a little while ago. He was happy to make 83/84 CR500 pipes but needed a bike there to allow him to jig correctly. Same issue with LC pipes.

I have a Geoff Morris pipe on my 430. Love it. I would have a couple more made for other bikes. Its just getting it here from down under
is harder.

I will check in with him soon. Oh - have a gentleman who has designed pipes for years and will be looking into the my projects for huskies for ideas
he uses a couple different programs based on porting to design length of cones etc.
