    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

250-500cc WR300 countershaft seal replacement

I need a bit of help finding the part number for the countershaft seal on my wr300. I know I need #24 (PN#800060464) and #25 (PN#800023110)

But for the actual countershaft seal I'm having a hard time figuring out which seal is the correct one I need to order (the seal on the case underneath the front sprocket)

The diagram online kind of sucks and I'm having a hard time telling if I need #21 (PN#800048209) or #18 (PN#800059977)
 
It 800059977. Just a not but a lot of times it is leaking from the o-ring 800023110. I would just replace it first it is cheap and easy and usually fixes the problem. You can replace the spacer 800060464 it rides in if you like as well.
 
Thanks for the info. I'm just going to order the big seal as well since it's pretty cheap and I'll just replace it anyways. Unfortunately, Motosport has an issue with the webpage link for the 800059977 part and they can't fix it right away, so I'm trying to cross shop other bikes for one.

Does anyone have another go-to parts supplier for their oem parts?
 
I got all my parts in the mail, and now it's apparent (stupid me for not realizing) why it was leaking. My snap ring was missing from the front of the countershaft sprocket. Only $10 worth of parts, so I put the new ones in anyways. Now I can't get enough countershaft sticking out of the sprocket to put the snap ring back in its groove. I tried pressing hard on the sprocket to compress the new oring, but it's not enough. Maybe I have the wrong sprocket, but I doubt it. The new OEM spacer and oring are exactly the same size as the old ones that came out.
