I think the rim you have done looks pretty darn good. No need to create more work for yourself. This thing is looking great so far! I love that swingarm too.

Thanx Guys! I'll get cranking on this when I get back.

What are your thoughts on the Motoz tires? Need a good all year around Harescramble tire? Probably soft to intermediate?

We are think of doing the 09 Wr125 cylinder in black with a slanted, red Husky emblem, (like the 09 graphics but smaller version), Cylinder head gets polished like chrome so it stands out against the black. Going to either polish the water pump/power valve governor cover or do them in black?

Going to try and make a bracket to convert 45's fork covers to the 50's so we can go white fork protectors.

I already had the crank done and put a new Pro-x rod kit in it. I should have all the parts in the next couple weeks to get the bottom end assembled. I went with all new crank case bolts since the anodizing was yucky on the old ones.

I want to do some port work on the 09 Cylinder and exhaust match it to the pipe we use.

I have the TMXX carb and RM needle ready to install other than getting red carb vent hoses and red fuel line.

I think we will go white fenders, white number plate and red tank covers. I have an 08 air box/mud flap coming, to convert to black. UFO has the radiator covers in black.

I need to polish up the rear subframe areas that you will see when all the stuff is on.

The graphics are a secret. You won't get to see some of the final stuff till it comes out of the shop.

Have to come up with a nice shifter tip yet and nice IMS tank cap?

Or do we find an 07/08 Black stock 125/250 tank since we will not need to carry fuel over the stock 2.51 gals?

Any insight on Dyno Port pipe versus FMF Fatty? I have both and Power Core II silencer to repack and polish.

    Thanx!

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with it. I really changes the looks of things. And I am all about doing free or cheap mods that I can do myself

    Thanks for the tip!

Here are a couple pics I just dug up of my 08 WR 250 that I did a couple years ago. It still looks great but the frame is red. I did the swingarm on it, clutch, ignition, power valve covers, kick starter, head, frame brackets, chain guide and triple clamps. I am hoping this little one two five is gonna turn out this good.

    Walt,

No problem, I haven't forgotten. When I send them, I have a late Christmas present for you!

If you get reports on the news about an old fat, worn out Husky rider, swimming in the Gulf of Mexico next week! Relax it's just me!

    HXC,

I had to take a week off in Florida, to recharge my batteries for 2011.

I am waiting on a big shipment of parts that should be here soon. As soon as I get them I can cruise on getting this thing done.

Stay tuned in because some neat things are coming.

    Thanx

    Darin

Excellent! Glad you posted these! I couldn't find the Blue/Yellow pic! I'll see what I can do with the Dyno Port! If it doesn't turn out good, I'll have to shoot her in black. I spent all day Sunday with a detail sander and file trying to get the head ready for polishing. I think it's gonna turn out great.

Pic 001 I went ahead and masked off my 09 Wr 125 Cylinder for painting. I cleaned it, used wax an grease remover onit and scuffed it up with a scotch brite pad. It is now ready to get primer.
