Congrats Rob.. Anything you can post will be much appreciated.. If you have the time any special tools needed (preferably with pics).. Required (or recommended) gaskets, seals, bearings etc (if you have the parts fiche number handy that would be great).. As a special favor to you, I will wait 3 more years until I am 53 (just like you) before I install mine (he hee).. Thanks in advance and cheers.. :)

I've ridden my '09 WR300 twice since Ausky fitted the 6-speed transmission for me (Thanks Damo!). The bike is even more awesome than it used to be. I had it geared up to get a decent top speed on transports, which led to a lot of clutch slipping in the tighter going. Now I've been able to drop the final gearing back to stock to get a decent first gear again and the bike is so much better! I had the 6-speed sitting in the cupboard for nearly two years before I got around to doing it - kicking myself about that!

Tomorrow I'm taking the bike for its first ride with the new Rekluse Core EXP2 clutch. Really looking forward to seeing how that performs.

I've now had a ride on the bike with the Rekluse clutch fitted and it is even better than I could have hoped! No more worrying about stalling the bike under brakes and technical stuff like rocky creek beds are easy. It even makes it easy to find neutral!

The ride on Wednesday was to mark out the track for a club ride this weekend. I had a bunch of ribbon shoved down the front of my shirt and it was so easy to just pull up and tie ribbon to tree branches without having to stop and find neutral each time. Once we had the track marked we did a couple of laps and the new clutch made any technical sections so much easier and more enjoyable! I wasn't sure about adding this clutch to the bike as I didn't want to tame it but I couldn't be happier. The Rekluse in combination with the 6-speed has turned this into my favourite bike ever.

Very easy mod. If you have any questions once you are in the process just ask.

    Your stock clutch works.
