  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

'10 TXC250 baseline dyno

Be patience, Our TC250, 2010 has now done 50 hrs under extreme conditions and delivers 33.5 hp in stock condition, when new it only had 28, just fitted a HGS pipe and it now delivers 37.5 hp, the power is there, if you need it, you will find it

Thanks for the info wally111. I have been waiting to see a dyno run with the HGS exhaust and 37.5 sounds very good. Do you happen to know what your jetting is with the HGS? Thanks, John

MJ 190 PJ 42 Needle OBEN R 5th from top.
Might have to adjust for cooler climates, it is here 35deg C at the moment and 20% humidity.
Needle above comes in the upgrade kit

Thanks wally111 I really appreciate the info. I heard we are to be getting the upgrade kit but nobody seems to know when.

I don’t understand how the AFR between 7000 to 12000 rpm (blue line on the first dyno test at or below 12.5:1) was corrected by the PC5 adding fuel on the second dyno test.

(3d basemap post#8 in http://www.cafehusky.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4827)

Were the Ibeat CO values changed between the two dyno runs?

MAT

Both dynos run with CO 1,2 & 3 at 100. My dyno was done at 6215 feet above sealevel in a shop that was barely 40º F at the time. The dynojet dyno is approx 2200 feet above sea level and it was easily 60º F in the dyno room.

Now that I am am back to the Rockies I am seeing that PC 5 +AT is subtracting 2 to 5% from most of my orignal DJ made map.

The upgrade kit is only for the TC I think and includes a new hotstart, leak jet and Needle, we received it last week here in Australia, I am using a merger adjustable leak jet with good results, so no need for the new leak jet
