    Hi All
first post here. I just bought a new 2012 TE310. It has the upgraded ECU and injector. Not sure what else the dealer did before delivery.
I haven't had a chance to give it a decent ride yet , but was mucking around at the end of my street over the weekend and noticed that when
slowing down to do a U-turn , the revs increased rather dramatically.
Has anyone else noticed this ? I thought that it would be a pain in the A on trails if this happened all the time.

Maybe throttle cable or TPS needs minor adj.

Is it doing it in the turn or just slowing down

Interesting. My idle changes about 200rpm depending whether the bike is on the side stand or standing vertical.

Seems to be only doing it in the turn. I rang a local husky dealer and he said it was to counteract the bike dying out at low revs ,
but it doesn't seem right to me. I was going to get the bike registered and could see it becoming a bit dangerous on the road.

Mine never did it...not stock, not powered up. Did up idle to 2000-2100 for best performance.

The throttle cable is routed wrong somewhere, as you turn the bars the cable is being pulled hence the rise in revs.

This sounds correct. Do a static test. With the engine running, turn the bars left and right.

BTW, try to talk to the mechanic at your dealer, not the :censored: sales guy.

OK this is weird. Does the idle change if you lean the bike a like amount to the right side?

Will check this arvo. Some good thinking here. Maybe the cable is getting caught somewhere.

So many damn cables and other stuff up at the front end. No wonder its getting jammed up.
Oh , the joys of modern bikes..

I bet I could get rid of half the wires via common grounds and placing relays up front behind the headlight. Oh...and Vegemite and its bastard brother Marmite are just plain nasty.

I suppose one might get used to it, but after that if the verdict is "not that bad", i.e., not that good either, why bother?

My 2011 TE310 has got an upgraded nozzle, ecu and leo vinci exhaust, but since I got som problems with it (won't rew or pull away) I took the gas tank/fuel pump and intake body apart. the injector nozzle is blue with only 10 holes!! what is this?

Have anyone in here bought a 12 hole nozzle only, either from husqvarna or the kawa nozzle. If so what part number to look for and/or the cheapest on-line place to buy?

    regards Peter

See this for 12 port Mikuni injector P/N and pics.
I think the Kawi injector is 10 hole.

any problem is easily solved if you just buy the OEM upgrade kit (which is a 2012 TXC310 ECU and injector), instead of trying to find a home grown (Kawasaki) solution. Does anyone even know if the KAW injector has the same size orifaces, same injector solenoid spec...
The factory released a boxed set 12port injector and ECU mapped to TXC spec. I installed this package onto my 2011 TE310 and the thing works great. (I do not run the "open" exhaust, its got the dB-S/A cap installed and the thing runs great with great clean curve power)
