You're right, $700 is ridiculous. The whole kit is ridiculous, especially because the ecu is lean. You can get just the injector and piggyback a powercommander. Also, Husky tells me that you no longer need iBeat software to program these ecu's, the HST works for these. I have yet to test that.
yes im sure they do. ps imho the race kit ecu is fim enduro race spec, because mine runs super good with the db-sa cap installed, probably lean side if on open pipe, i never did that, i wanted fim-ama legal sound check for enduro comp. the txc310 spec te310 is smooth and powerful tuned perfectly with my slightly restricted tc ti muffler. many hardcore races and rides with never an issue with any fi stuff, always starts hot or cold and pulls good everywhere. we all throw around rich, lean, power, no power, stall, flame out etc but everyone is running different set ups. need to better catagorize the tuning specs
Been looking everywhere can't find a 8000h7424 ecu. Making me a sad husky owner. I really like this bike wanna make it right so I can love it.
I called them last week they told me it's hard for them to get hat I should call a dealer and try and find on in stock most people said it would take months to arrive
I don't believe so and when you go from a 4 port injector to a 12, you have to drastically reduce the fuel input. I asked Ty and he said he couldn't be sure either. He said they don't make the ecu any longer, so we had a 310 + 12 port injector + pcv dyno'd to replace the ecu.
the factory p/n for the kit is (TXC310) 8000H7557 AND (txc250) 8000H7563 this gets the blackhead TEs up to 2012 TXC spec , this is what I installed into my 2011 TE310 each kit is 12 port injector with "racing" TXC ECU
The Kit is definitely discontinued. The txc ecu is 8000h7424 which shouldn't be because they have a 7 year build contract on parts. What would a txc owner do if they fried their ECU? Btw how did I like it once the kit was installed?

With the kit installed it was a night and day difference. It came with OEM pipe with no dB-S/A and was very "sharp" and "poppy" I installed the 2010 TC250 Ti muffler with the dB-S/A plug installed along with the kit 12 port injector and TXC310 ECU and she sounded better with a lower tone along with smoother running on both accel and decel. She was quiet and made great enduro power helping win a crap load of trophies and capturing Husky contingency bucks as well. The bike always started hot or cold and ran consistent in all conditions (it still does- I know the new owner), Mikuni FI was way better in my experience than the industry standard Keihin that was on my 2013 Red Head TXC310 (but that's a whole "nother" story).
