OK I know I've been missing for a bit but been getting bike set up for this year which for us started two weeks ago. So good to be back racing but damn I'm out of shape! Have tried several different combo on suspension and pulled it apart back December have look see. After trying different oil volume and weight with no luck went to a .42 /.45 combo and back to 4wt oil with more volume. The heavy oils were just so thick they slowed the comp/rebound down too much. In sand rollers the forks would actually packwhen moving at fast clip. Still have few things to try on the brake side shim stack to try slow down the comp in the first three inch travel but the .45 change on brake side really keeps it up in the stroke without cause any reflection in the slower trail trash.

Forgot to add that also tried some gear changes and added FMF powercore. Powercore maybe little louder but gave it little more bottom snap along with a 51 sprocket. Tried 52 also but way to much shifting. Would be good in tight technical stuff though. Really like the 51t it's spot on. Second gear dead engine started are breeze.. Also added a g2 throttle cable and tube. I'm not a fan of those lock on grips at all. Sam over at g2 has a good conversion setup that quick easy to swap so you can run whatever grips you like.

I love this thread! Been following it for the past few weeks and I wish I would have found it sooner. it would have saved me a ton of time with the jetting and power valve. I got my 150 in September and only got it dialed in some time in December! Great write ups! :applause:

I know what you mean... Darin had me way ahead of curve when mine arrived. Had useful jets ready to change on day one. Just order my vforce reeds yesterday. Thought mine were okay but at full gas Enduro last weekend I noticed that the first run of the day bike was sputtering for few minutes then was spot on. Took out Monday have look see and sure enough bottom left reeds not sealing good til warm up. Keep that in mind.

Darin here is a picture of the o-ring spacing the cap down. Plug looks as good as it runs.

Looks good Walt! Now I know what you mean about oring placement. Yeah, I had in my mind towards bottom.

I'm hoping to have fire in the hole this weekend.

Walt? Do you have your VForce in yet?

Yes, I installed today. My existing reed cage actually was seating perfectly but still the V-Force is definitely a step up in quality and design. It is so cool when you have a bike like this and it starts after maybe half a revolution with the starter and just idles along purring. Then rips the front wheel off the ground through the first 4 gears. I am up to 20.3 hours on the clock and hoping to add another 100 this summer.

Here’s another part I made to help check the float height.

A drain plug with a drilled out post to attach a 3/16 gas line to, bend the line up against the carb body then fill the carb with gas. The gas in the line will be at the same level as in the float bowl. You will have to do this with the carburetor off the bike and carb in the upright position.

Gees that's what is on mine.

Can't wait to get mine out this spring and do more testing.

    Thanx for comments guys!

That's just due to going south and riding a bunch of days in a row. I am probably off the bike for some time now with a bum shoulder except for zips up and down the road.

Ain't no fire in da hole!

My VForce has not come! Bummer cause it feels like summer in February!

Cranked it over and you can tell the compression is increased.

Them shoulders can be sticklers! Hope it heals up or you might have to duct tape it up to ride.

Yep, MRI is being read on Wednesday. I like the duct tape idea better than all the other options, just need the long term injectable pain killer to go with it. Have you seen the 4" needle they inject all that dye crap with. "This might hurt a bit" OW....Sorry....OWWW.....Sorry....OWWWWW, How many more times are you going to do that? So he buried it and left it there?! At least the techs were all nice.

Walt! Good luck! Hope they get it figured out and can get you patched up quick.

Finished my pipe off this am.

Made a 3D Husky badge then made it look rustic with brass.

Also, re blued it with more purple color.

Get too close and you gonna get branded!
