Anyone on here need a set of these?

EE radiator braces worked on my 17 TE150

Sure they fit the 250 and 300.

Can use stock loovers with rubber straps.

$40 plus ship. (Sold to nother Husky Fan)

In other words! I have a cool plan.....

Here is your ride report guys!

Engine Is broken in and last main was 480. Did plug reading this am and noticed, titch of white on electro sides.
So slapped in a 490 to be safe. We are at 55ish and this fuel is hard to do plug readings. It burns too clean.

So, thought just take her out and pull handcuffs off.

I thought last fall, I had bike running 10% over stock.

Now! I don't quite know how words can describe it. Low end, has way more torque. That's why had to switch out rear tire. I was under tired and found one of my favorites, with good bite. It's breaking loose now like it should.
Mid range. Definately increased overall and robust, No hiccups or nothing.
Top end !! Was hoping I didn't loose any. Well, got even more. That's partially my error from forgetting to match carb inlet to my intake inlet, last fall.

Sheet! I've created a monster! I'm not so sure that I want to do anymore to it.

Dang bike got my attn couple times and though I was going down.

Walt! Many thanks to your work in the RK tech head!

Walt? Here is the plug on the 490 main.

    Here are my specs:

    RK Tech head insert.

Ported exhaust booster ports (Forgive me but I had a hunch), cleaned/matched/polished main exhaust port and pipe matched.

    Fmf Fatty

    Fmf Shorty

36/41mm TMXX V3 modified/polished carb and modified needle.

    Modified intake

    VForce 4 reed

    VP T2 race fuel 40:1

    Ngk BR9 ECMIX plug

Yellow powervalve spring. 2 1/4 turns in.

I think it is really cool that you have the masterpiece running. I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't ride it for fear of marring the piece of art. Sounds like you got exactly the feeling I had once I had my Lectron adjusted. Wish that fuel was available anywhere close to me. Really scary color on the plug, even lighter than mine. I hear ya that it is hard to read with that fuel.

This kinda tells you the fuel feeding this thing on 500 main.

Now look at my tip and see what it is releasing compared to stock needle on left.

Just front springs, rad guards ( going after them to look like my silencer), battery and some fine tuning.

I was wondering if these new batteries needed to be on a tender when not in use........guess I should rig one up then?

I only use a battery tender on lithium batteries if they ever get low.

I never leave one on constant.

I take mine out for winter and store inside house.

I usually make sure charged up before and then after storage.

Rest time bike takes care of it, unless something drains it.

Sure others will jump in on their thoughts too?

LiFePO are a bit more forgiving regarding the charging procedure (compared to LiPO batteries found in the RC hobby world) but the best advice is to use a charger made for that type of battery as the internal cells need to be balanced for max performance.*

    * Disclaimer : Having said that I don't have the proper charger at the moment for my LiFePO batteries.

My other bike has a LiFePO battery with a small constant current drain from the speedo unit. I've found it dead (a huge no-no for a LiPO, and all batteries for that matter) and so now keep an eye on it. Every 4-6 weeks if I haven't ridden it in the winter it gets low and I put it on a BT Jr for a lead acid battery (not the best method) for a few hours to bring it up. Then ride the bike normally. Most times if the bike is ridden every couple weeks the battery stays charged.

Definately don't want to leave the new style batteries on a tender made for a lead acid battery for extended periods (more than a few hours). My shop is kept at about 60 to keep moisture off my machine tools so the environment isn't as bad as if I was in an unheated shed.

I will likely end up getting a fancy charger as they do keep the battery alive longer.

Think I'm going to do a polished center Husky logo, on these radiator guards. Then incorporate the same colors, as my silencer.

I have had excellent luck, with the WPS lightweight batteries, in both my Husaberg TE250 and KTM 200XC-W. Less expensive and hold a charge well, even in the cold.

Why you tell me this now that my Shorai is being delivered today?

No, just giving you hard time! I did look at the WPS ones, but the CCA's were lower and figure I'd go more from high compression head.

There are a lot of great comments out there about WPS batteries.
