• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Straight from taking the victory at Round 7 of the AMA/SRT National Hare and Hound Championship in Caliente, NV KTM/FMF backed Ivan Ramirez would surprise a lot of people by showing up at Round 6 of the AMA/SRT/FLEXX Western Checkpoint Enduro Championship at the Ranch in Anza, Ca. "I love the tighter enduro stuff, and this was almost EXACTLY like the Tecate Enduro. Which I love that area!"

Ivan would also bring a slew of friends to battle with - Kyle Redmond, Quinn Cody, Brandon Brieto. They would all be on the minutes around each other and all keep comparing times throughout the day. Redmond would actually take a few test wins at the Qualifier Enduro hosted by Ventura County MC. "I really like the format. Kind of like a Sprint Enduro where you do the same tests a few times and can learn the section and pick up your times"

In 3rd would be Purvines Racing's Nick Burson who would also make the trek from finishing 3rd at the National Hare and Hound. "I really like this place. Drove 7-hours just to race here and defend my local Enduro title." Burson would struggle on the first loop as he was breaking trail most of the day being on an early minute right behind reigning series champions Jordan Brandt who would take 5th. "The trails were so good but being the first one on them didn't help me" said Brandt as he would be pushing his way though the tight bushes most of the day on Row 1.
