Do the bars give it a more modern feel?
I like the circlip taped to the headlight.

Bars make it feel like a new bike, makes the wrist more straight on to the grip

i like the FORD parts going ford is the going thing i had a 1,8 turbo allwheel drive lazer tx3 now my daly is a falcon ute xr6 i ment to coment on the ford baner on your wall

Well i went back to the stock foam and seat base the bike came with, got a new cover from HVA.

Added some numbers and yellow number plate backing, not sure if the #s will stay. lol

Yes it is a 86, can't wait to finish her off, just had the wheels relaced gold Excels, stainless spokes powdercoated oem hubs just waiting to fit tyres, wiring and just a few other odds and ends.My first left kicker.

Picked some fork boots and a shock cover from Husky-parts

Torn on the gaiter/boot thing, may protect things but also keeps in moisture and fine dust. I think I would rather see whats going on, does look good though.

A muddy day sure, some days are better. Its Spring and the snow is gone.

Remove the shock and fork protection to claen and inspect, saves the fork seals, rock dings and the rear shock seal head and spring. Remove, clean/inspect, re-install simple and protective. wouldn't ride with out them.

Can I ask where the seat was from? Was it a recover? Just picked up a running 86 wr400 for 400.00 bucks. Looking to restore her to former glory, yours is inspiring. My seat is torn badly. I will start thread and pictures soon.
