    some info on the rebuild.

ignition is a SEM, so i have plenty of power to play with when it comes time for a headlight.

i got the front brake sorted out....well 90%. im running a yz426f master cylinder and brake line. only issue is right now i have to run the brake line on the outside of the fork to the bottom clamp because of the angle required on the bottom banjo. i have to look around and see if anyone has a banjo fitting with a little more angle to it so i can run it on the inside like the original. than have the bottom YZ banjo cut and the new one crimped on. brake feels good and stops great now. the YZF line is a little on the long side since i am not running it down and around the front leg like the original YZF mounting, but that leaves plenty of extra to cut and add the new banjo, and when i get a head light it should still be plenty of slack to run behind it.

i played with a CRF line for a bit, it was a bit shorter than the original, and i got a small crack in it when i was trying to bend it to the right angle to run inside the fork. i dont think i would have enough slack with that line though when i add the headlight to run behind the light.

took it for a spin around the neighborhood for a bit to test the brakes, and now i understand about the vibration everyone is talking about. all the talk about the 500 being worse is nuts. this thing does buzz when reved, but i can live with it.

hopefully this brake info will help someone else out down the road if necessary. also makes it a lot easier to get a new lever.

right now the gearing is 14/52. honestly im not sure what it was stock, the sprockets are in good shape, and i havent got it in the dirt yet to see what it stands. so at the end of the month when i take it out i will see how i feel about it.
