Let us know how that works out. I could use some new plastic and graphics.

That is one pretty nice looking good find

I guess if you order direct you shouldn't have a problem. I finally threw up my hands and asked to just sell me the shroud graphics and the condescending reply I got was hysterical. " sure is a complicated order.... just for 2 shroud graphics" WHAT??? They were the only complication, I was ready to buy the whole kit for about $200! :excuseme:

I'd rather not even deal with them at this point. I had my adult sons read my emails and it was perfectly clear I was ordering the full bike kit, white backgrounds and my name and numbers in black from the first email after they confirmed they could do that. I'm chasing a set of shroud graphics from a member here now, I can't imagine if the order from those guys was botched. It would never get resolved. I was going back and forth with them for a week, probably 8 emails Were sent in each direction. Super weird.

learn slovakian and im sure the problem wouldnt of occured
shame as it did look like the proper job but if you cant get through to them why bother, can you not go to a signmakers with your existing panels and ask them to make a custom kit for you?

Another member here has offered a set of N style graphics that should do the job. The sign makers in my area are not as advanced as the graphics companies, and I'd have used Decal Works but they didn't have a template and it would take too long to send them the panels this time of year when they are busy.

I got this bike on the track today. Its been 15 years since racing a 125 and I was rusty for not riding much last year already... Well, the jetting is wacky but the bike itself was pretty great. The 2002 rear CR shock with Pro Tune Suspension valving was absolutely magic. I added rebound but now that I adjusted to the 2t a little I can pull it back out. I played with the compression too but overall it was smooth and silky. I really didn't even think about it, it just hooked up. The forks might be a 9 outta 10, gotta ride it more. The track was brutally pounded by an open practice with nearly 400 riders on Saturday so honestly it was probably more that and my riding than the forks. I had an issue with massive braking bumps but again, it was really a nasty section of moguls. See below, I cased more than a few jumps. Everything was sucked up pretty well. Bottomed with good control, no nasty surprises, no pain!

Getting a 125 over long jumps is a chore! Haha! I have been racing/riding 450-600cc 4t bikes since 1999. I am used to cracking the throttle at low RPMs and launching. This is not an easy adjustment. On the good side, corrections are super effortless. It friggin turns like crazy!!! My 4t bikes all pushed you wide, this thing can be cut ibto any line, now I have to learn to slip the clutch again to take advantage of that.

I had trouble hooking the shifter for upshifts. Common problem with the 125s? I raised the shifter as far as I could without locking out of upshifts completely but it still eluded me more than I liked, a longer lever maybe??? Size 10 Garnes but I really had to twist my foot to get in the shifter. That spooked me a few times off a few jumps!

Oh yeah, this thing has some HP! I was able to throttle wheelie/skim a few long straights to avoid the beat track surface. It hauls the mail! Can't wait to get the jetting working right!

I've got a 1999 WR 125 that I put the newer style forks on with the 25mm axle. Will the 02-08 front wheel bearing kit work in the 1999 front wheel if I have the corresponding 02-08 front axle and spacers? I see that the 1999 and 02-08 front wheel bearing ID and widths are different.

It should work with the correct spacer, remembering that big axle acts as spacer on one side. On the small axle you had a spacer and a mechanical odometer drive (or odo eliminator spacer).

Your bike looks great. It appears to have led an easy life. Nice one. I still have mine which I am the original owner of. Have the head light, brake light, owner's manual, tools, etc. One of these days, I will need to replace the rear tire, it is original. I rode it a few times this year at a riding park with lots of rocks and I noticed that chunks of rubber are torn off the knobs. Have fun. DSCN0561.jpg

That is a beaut there Bruce! Easy life yes, but yours seems to have lounged in true comfort!

My son borrowed mine yesterday to trail ride with a buddy. He's been on just about everything in the last few years from a WR125 to a Burg 570. He's a fast kid these days. So his comments, says it feels great, just like his brother's 1999 KTM 125 which we modernized with new gen suspension done by the same guy who did my Husky. Says the engine is slightly softer on the bottom but mid/top are as good as anything.

His only negative the bike, gearing still too tall for our tight trails. I've got a 13/51 set on it. I guess I might go grab a 12t to test. I've only ridden it on the MX track and it feels about right there. I don't look forward to the single track on a 125 but my 4t is getting rebuilt right now, no other choice.

They are nice bikes and are very popular in Europe. My brother has the KTM 125, I think it is a 1999. It definitely has a different feel than the Husky. I am not an accomplished rider, I just mess around and grew up riding a little Atlas mini that my grandpa built out, then a Honda CT70, and now this. It is just nice to have something that others do not.

Just a question. I cleaned and oiled the air filter with No Toil and noticed the seam on one layer of the filament has torn but the layer on the other side is not torn. I spread some grease over the tear. Do I need to replace the filter?

Better to replace than chance it tearing during a ride. I've cheated with a dab of grease too, just make it a temp fix. My original filter fell apart when it was touched.

Thank you. I will go ahead and replace. I found some on Ebay called Fast Filters. A 3 pack of pre oiled is just $21. I assume they will be good enough. It is funny you mentioned your original filter falling apart. The same thing happened to me several years ago.

Foolishly, last night, I made the mistake of replacing the grips... at 3 am and I was rushing the job because I didn't want to do it. Naturally, the one grip burst due to trapped air. I should know better not to work on it when not in the mood, but it needs a lot of things... leaking fork and bad rear tire, and I was stressing about it.

    Thanks for the advice.

Try cleaning the seal on the fork with a piece of 35mm film (good luck finding that!) or a few business cards.

If you are within "not too far" from Ohio, my suspension buddy is excellent and affordable and he just did mine so he knows the guts intimately, LOL. I ship from NJ for servicing and tuning and I have local places I could just drop them off. He transformed the 1999 forks, as good as anything else I've ridden including my 2011 CC forks on my KTM. I don't know how serious a rider you are, but the right suspension is awesome to have. Makes everything else work better too. He will just do the seals too if that is all you want.

Pro Tune Suspension, he is on facebook. His name is Corey.

Up by the very top? At the cap?

Cap might just be loose, or the bleed screw loose.
