had this issue with the flashing neutral light, it was the relay, replaced with after market unit from electrical shop, the dealer wasn't confident he would get a genuine replacement relay in under 4 weeks, so he went with the aftermarket bit. all seems ok. can somebody please tell me what a flashing fuel light means, seems to happen when i have a hot stall and I fail to get it fired up first go (thinking the auto decomp might be faulty) i don't have a manual to look it up,
Damn, just put things back together from a valve adjust and I'm now getting a cranking no start condition and can hear the fuel pump prime. Neutral light flashes four times and holds Edit to clarify - three short flashes and holds on the forth....... I've been trying to decipher the multi-language manual but haven't found anything about codes. Anyone know what that means?
Check the wiring on the ignition coil. I have seen the quick-disconnect terminals get loose and easily slide off.
ibeat shows failure Manifold air temp - high value Manifold pressure - low value Throttle Position - low value Also I should verify that the white plug I think should be empty is suppose to be that way. As well I've checked the coil connections and they are on tight but in fact when I put a plug in to check spark I get nothing...... the tank is off so could that be it?
Is that the white connector that connects to the sensor group on the throttle body? Those fault code all come from the same sensor module that is on the left side to the throttle body. If it's not that connector, I would look at the wiring going to it.
Thanks Seymore......... Looks like I had a good case of tunnel vision. The white plug goes to the throttle body....... duh. Started right up of course...... Sigh. Someday I'll catch up on my rest. Or not.
