    Unfortunately no, not enough time to prep. I am racing on 302x for the 1000.

    Tecate Hare Scrambles Dec. 5th will be its maiden race. Couple weeks to dial it in for that. The bike looks sooooo sweet, AND light :applause:

    This bike will be to attempt to qualify for 2010 ISDE in Mex. next year, on a US club team.

    I'm curious what is the weight difference between the new '10 TC250 & '10 TXC250?

    I sat on the TXC250 and TC250 Thursday and I would have guessed the weight difference to have been less than 10 lbs. The new TC & TXC 250 feel very light and they both look awsome.

    Well, I rode my 2010 TXC 250 for about 15 minutes today...just to get a quicky in before kids soccer...

    The starter brings her to life easily enough...it was cold in eastern San Diego County today, but she fired right up. I removed all the restrictive items on the bike and the EFI was checked by the shop prior to picking up. I also removed the sparky screen.

    I started to ride and it initially sputtered and hesitated a little bit (probably not warmed up enough). Once up to temp. though she ran fine. The exhaust seemed kinda loud.

    This bike feels really light and flickable. I am six foot and felt really comfortable on it. Good transition from sitting to standing. The bar bend felt good for me.

    Tranny: I think the tranny ratios will work great out west. First seemed fine, but again, I was just putting around. Once I get her broken in and let it rip, then I can provide a more detailed ride report.

    But my initial report: :applause::applause::thumbsup::thumbsup::D:D:D:D:busted::busted::busted::applause::applause:::D:)

    The louder exhaust is not a trend I like. My 2004 TE250 was a very quiet bike with each generation seeming to get louder. Husky has always been a leader in this area and hopefully they aren't taking a step back. I heard a 2010 TC250 in person and that bike was LOUD! I hope the TXC and TE are no where near that level.
