Just to confirm. The CAcycleworks pump does fit the 2011's as well. I recently installed one and all is good. Also, they have changed the type of hose included with the pump. I believe the new hose is more compatable with submerged applications. I do wish there was replacement pump not made in China...
Thanks for posting your info, I believe all the newer bikes will be using the standard (for Husky) 30mm diameter pump that is the CAcycleWorks offering for Husky.
None. I'm just wondering if Husqvarna fixed the problem with the 2012's or if they are still there. Seems like an odd design regardless. Capacitor-fired unit injectors with low pressure feed make much more sense than wasting all that gas tank space with bulky, failure prone high pressure pumps and regulators.
Just found this link if anyone needs it...besides myself. What a bear. http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/x-lite-fuel-pump-quick-connects-how-do-they-work.25732/
Can someone elaborate on this subject. I'm not familiar with the different fuel injection systems offered on motorcycles. What dirt bike manufacturers offer capacitor-fired systems?
Don't know any. Unit injection is usually found on diesels. They use a piston inside the injector itself to create fuel pressure instead of relying on a high pressure pump.
I wasn't exactly sure if this it the place to ask this question or not, Sorry If I am wrong. I need a Fuel Pump gasket for Husqvarna TE310 2012. I can't seem to find just the gasket and I do not what to buy the whole pump if I do not have to. They are around 600.00 for whole pump system. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Huskman
Thank you I allready Tried them. They have the gasket for the TC 250 2012 but that fuel pump is different than the TE310 2012. Is the TC 250 and TE310 fuel pump Gaskets interchangeable? Thanks -Huskman
I'm curious to know how that fuel pump from ca cycles has held up. Mine OEM pump just died and I need to order a new one. Thanks!
