I am waiting for the phone call to fill this position...I wish.Hmmmm I did send that resume about 6 months ago, maybe I should send another one. Are you reading this Husqvarna N.A. ? Rob? Scott? Anyone out there? :ride:Guscycle
I got a huge box of Husky clothing in last week. Nice stuff. Be forewarned, get at least 1 size bigger than you normally wear.
From what I unsderstand we shipped the first 144 kit out today. More are supposed to be in stock sometime this week.
Who is "we" and shipped to where please? I am still deciding on wheather or not to send my 08 Cr 125 Head off to EG, wait for the 150, or just order the 144 kit. Thanks, John
We is Scot Harden from Husqvarna Motorcycle NA and the dealer that it was shipped to is Bill's M/C. I hope that helps.
I've given up on the 150 concept after seeing our TC 250 in actual race conditions. I think a second TC 250 (2011) might be added to our stable as a back up bike (since Cody loves to crash).
OK thanks Mr. Harding I appreciate the info. Krieg I know what you mean about the TC 250 I had to ride my son's again today; he told me to. He just put on a 52 rear sprocket to see how it would act in the woods. We were working a check point at a big hare scramble race yesterday and now he wants some of that too LOL!
I rode ours as my primary woods bike for 5 months before turning it over to Cody. It works in the woods too!
I checked here in Australia. No news of such a bike coming here. The 144 kit costs AUS $1500 and the 2010 wr125 costs AUS $ 10,295. At these prices only those who seek trophies will be interested. How much does it cost to ship from the USA to Australia
While it is one of the more expensive places to ship, it should be well under $50. Not really a factor for bigger ticket items... but for a couple of ceramic coffee cups it does hurt a little ($28?).
I still loyal to my 125! I'm very happy with my 125. Maybe when I get old and gain some weight I'll get on one-ha!
Just got the word 2011 Wr150 in the country ,possibly releaseing Monday?Ordered 2 .Suggested MSRP $6495..Not much else to tell .billf
Wow re-designed frame and more power! I thought the current frame was sweet so this should be a awesome bike. Thanks for sharing and way to go Husky.
that article is full of errors. "a redesigned chromoly trellis frame" uh no, thats not a trellis frame. "50mm Kayaba fork that is matched to a Sachs remote-reservoir rear shock" Uh no, they are 48mm KTB forks and no thats not a remote reservoir (which means on a hose and located off the shock).
You are correct at least about the forks. That was a mistake. The rest is correct. Trellis has been applied to frames of this type before. It is not what one commonly thinks of as Trellis, I'll grant you that, but it is not technically inaccurate. We apologoze on the mistake about the forks. Now that that's out of the way what do you think of the bike?
