California law mandates that any Dealer or shop, cannot sell or install these performance pipes for bikes that are driven on the highway (street legal) This is why you will have trouble purchasing these in CA ( Emissions ). These laws have been in place for awhile they are just really enforcing them now. If you can't get anyone to sell you these in CA. These pipes are available on eBay and Amazon ( My Favorite) They will take any returns no issues. $254.96 free shipping. http://www.amazon.com/FMF-P-CORE-MFLR-Part-Number/dp/B00AZ5RA0I or http://www.ebay.com/itm/FMF-PowerCo...TE449-TE511-2011-2012-/261375566742#vi-ilComp However try to get it at Langston's, you know who you are getting it from and if there is a problem you can return it with no issues.
The pipe will fit just fine. Just re-read an earlier post from Tinken. So I know this is going to work out just fine. My ride today was very nice. The bike performed flawlessly. And it was fun to cruise through the canyons. Haven't had time to take it to the dirt yet. That's coming up in April during our last trip to Ocotillo. Then I'll see how it does. Should be broken in by then. Have 220 miles on it so far.
Hey Muchmore....Sorry about that but, just think how well your Bike will treat you after you take Her out shopping.
My messages always get stuck in the moderator que and are "invisible to normal visitors." Makes me wonder if abnormal visitors can see them immediately. Is there some way to get my posts to actually go through immediately for timely information delivery? Do I need to be a paying member for that to happen? I can pitch in $25 if needed to enjoy instant gratification.

If you dont have map set 3, spend the $39 (or whatever the going rate is) and send it off to Zipty. That is the best $39 you will ever spend. If it cost 10x - it would still be a bargain. I know the bikes had EPA issues to deal with, but that is how the bikes should have been delivered.
Check out the Vapor, it is $129.00, has all the features of the Voyager (expect the gps) and you can add a dash with a fuel warning light...check it out: http://www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/vapor
I agree with Bigmo, that the cheapest upgrade and the biggest gain in performance would be to get Zip Ty to flash your ECU. Map3. You just need to send it in and $39.00 later your bike will perform like a new bike, add the pipe and you will have and ear to ear grin your whole ride. http://www.ziptyracing.com/te449-511-ecu-upgrade/
Hey Tom, a pipe without map 3 your bike will run a bit lean, map 3 thru zipty is cheap and makes a huge difference in combination with the pipe...just something to think about.
I run a Oregon 200 on my bike. A cheap Ram mount (I actually just zip tie the $12 cradle to the bars with a piece of rubber tube backing) is all you need (well, that and power). I have a single unified info center that provides everything one will ever need and they are $170 new. I have had that unit for four years now and it has been dropped on the ground literally 100x in 10+ different countries with zero issues. I am a huge fan of the Garmin "State" series. That being said, the 60CSX was and is one of the most bulletproof electronic devices ever built by the hand of man.
So my question now, How do I know which map is already in my ECU? The thing runs incredibly well STOCK. So I wonder if has the map 3 already? Is there any way to find out? My pipe will be here any day now. And my wheels should arrive next week. This is going to be FUN. I'll can Zip Ty racing tomorrow and see what they know about all this as well. Also, I'm thinking the Voyager is the way I'll go for the computer. Thanks again to all who've helped out. Really great.
What does the power up plug do? Does it add more power? Never understood that one. If you short the two connectors via the switch, does that change something in the ECU to provide more power? And how much more power?
I forgot to add what is awesome about the "State Series" is that they have multiple modes - sort of like virtual desktops to Unix/Linux peeps. I have a "dirt mode" for when I am on my Husky or YZ and then a "streetbike mode" when I am on my BMW. For the BMW, I have a navigation-based street map loaded (you can have multiple maps of differing themes) and it functions just like a Nuvi (the screen looks identical to the Nuvi in street mode). My son is into geocache too - so we have a mode for that and it moves all the buttons around for handy features and you can customize that as well. These are well thought out devices and literally generations and eons ahead of the Trailtech GPS functions.
I use a Garmin 62s. @bigmo - You can install a Q4 on a TE, I've had one on mine. It requires a header change and a couple header parts.
I have seen pics of it - but now that I know that the PC4 and the 040671 (they are really low stock on the inserts nationally) is so quiet, the Q is not really needed. I came up a hair over 94 dB. If you found the KTM RFS generation tolerable out of the crate, you will be very pleased. They are not nearly as quiet as the latest edition KTMs - but this down work. The biggest changes were temp - the bike has to run 20+ degrees cooler. If it could talk, it would say "thank you" - it just feels like it runs better/easier. Power is noticeable for sure. Weight? Oh my, five saved pounds way up high is VERY noticeable. I did both the pipe and the EarthX right around the same time so I dropped 10 full pounds from the very top of the bike. Moving the bike right to left with my knees is now effortless. OEM Cycle had both in stock for around $280 total - but I got their last 040671. I called a dozen places before I found one - even FMF is out.
I thought I lost my 60 CSX and bought a 62 series. Later found the 60 and have not since touched the 62.
You have 4 options that I know of for dialing in your EFI. 1. Power up Plug...Add a jumper to the power up plug to give you more power than stock. (ECU Map 2) Add a wire to close the circuit. 2. ECU Flashed by ZipTy this gives you a performance/race mapping. (Wake up the Beast) (ECU Map 3) $39.00 3. Combination of Map 2 and Map 3 by adding a switch to the power up plug. This will allow you to switch from map 2 to map 3. (Must stop, turn off the engine, then switch to alternate map then start engine) Correct me if I am wrong! Map 2: Street Mode/Off road: I use for cruising on the street or highway, better gas mileage with this setting. Map 3: Competition mode, single track, hill climbing, Glen Helen GP's. As I said this will be the setting for all of my riding off road. 4. Now there is the Power Commander V which is a computer that you can completely dial in your fuel and ignition setting which in turn will give you more horsepower to the rear wheel, the cost is.. $389.00 at ZipTy. I have not installed this on my bike but I have read the power gains are awesome, and ZipTy has preloaded Husqvarna Factory Team Racing Maps.
Additions to my Project I added Rotor Guards Front and Back. These are from 7602 Racing, and both total about $190.00 . They intergrate well front and back with the brake and axle. Lightweight and well machined, fits perfectly.
