Might be easier for Walt to downsize the new 250 for us , I recall him say'n there wasn't enough meat on the bone to bore a 125 KTM very much past 144.
As a Husky dealer, all I can say is Wow! The guys who bleed orange will look at the Huskies and the Husky owners will get some all new bikes, I'm really happy about the fact the bikes are blue/yellow, back to the Swedish colours
If you asked me I'd say the engineers at Husaberg influenced KTM... not the other way round. And the BMWuskies were no prize... so if Husaberg and Husky revival turns out to be Husqvarna in name and Husaberg in engineering... that is a win win. And if KTM still gets new improvements from the collaberation so much the better.
I agree with you on the trade of info after KTM acquired Husaberg they had a decent 4 stroke development plan, seems KTM got a jewel that needed some cutting and setting, they (Husaberg) had great bikes and no distribution in place that was really world class the Husky line was a red headed stepchild of BMW so got no real development
Certainly is better looking from a color scheme point of view. Not a lot else to chose from though but we will all be awaiting the tests and ride reports.
I think they did an excellent job with the colors and graphics! Some don't like the white/yellow/blue of the 80's Husky's, but I always have. That is the color scheme of Husqvarna when it left Sweden. I always liked the yellow and blue on the Husky's as those are the two colors of Sweden's flag. I noticed in the pics the attention to detail in branding the parts on the new line. Look at the exhaust on the 4T and the grips. They have Husqvarna on them, like we are all used to. The yellow head, how can you not like that? More pics please....
Also... tne KTM is on a stand with rear drooped... the Husky is on it's wheels with static sag. Rake is different relative to the ground... not frame to forks.
