Do it! Wish I had more money to squirrel away a new 449/511 at these prices. I already own one and want another one.
Oh I'm trying lol. I think i figured out how I can prep for the new baby and get a bike in fall. We will see, even my wife is convinced I need one now lol. Oh and about the Marzocci (sp?) forks, did you all see the red ones Zip-Ty has? I know I'm a loser but I want them just cause they're red lol
Had my 09 forks anodized red, the fork feet anodized gold, and nitrate coated sliders. Were really cool before a bad head-on wasted them.
I feel 100% positive you will not be able to get one in the fall, certainly not at the rebate pricing. The financing deal was so good that I couldn't pass it up. 3.9% for 60 months with zero down (if your credit is good), you better jump on one if you can find it.
I am going to the KTM dealer meeting at the factory in Austria next week. Hopefully some Husqvarna news will be discussed.
Be sure to tell them the retched refuse that are the die hard Husky fanatics are out here racing and representin'!
I see 2014 vin# s on the latest batch of bikes we are getting invoiced for .A little bit of this and that not sure what all is here but should know by AUG.2nd for sure.
You are getting the invoice now so you have the opportunity to pay for the bikes before you actually get them? Is that a change, or normal?
Just guessing from previous info that ,I know a couple dealers have had 2014 bikes invoiced and think they will be invoicing the rest over this next week and then we will know for sure what we are getting and at what price. The last incentive program went off end of June so thinking its been a month and new program is due since more bikes are here.I dont think huge numbers but better than nothing else coming until October showcase of all 2014 models.
There are 600 motorcycles in the last shipment to the United States from Italy. Not sure how many of each model or the distribution, but it is the last shipment.
Watching a taped replay of the German MX1 GP, the announcer spilled that he saw photos of the new 450. New colors according to the photo he saw are white with blue, said it will be unique and rumor is Tyla Rattray will be racing it.
There were 3 PDS bikes on the podium this past weekend. Bobbit and Lafferty both have told me they prefer the PDS suspension to linkage. I can make a PDS suspension work as good as any Honda for Offroad. Linkage is fine but there is no mystery to making PDS work. The correct spring is key. Straight rate and minimal preload. Lots of rider sag. Well on a KTM with 13.4" of suspension travel.
Though it may change with the stroke of a pen, 350/500 models are bound for the USA, while 450s are available in EU.
The ? is, will the 450 be the actual 2015 all-new Husky, & the 2014s are the rebadged KTM/Husaberg models to get through the transition, hmmm.
