Decisions decisions....yep ride the sherco and the KTM/husky and see what works for you.... I won't lie I like my 15 tc 250.....but reality check they are all realiable and what works for me may not work for you....a good dealer with good parts availability mean lots to me.good luck!!

I rode my SE R 300 in shitty weather through tight single on the weekend. It was raining, slippery and very tight but so much fun on the Sherco.
I found traction everywhere in mild map and I’m sure I was on the best bike for the conditions.
Next day’s ride was open terrain suited to a dual sport big bore 4T. It handled OK, I just flicked on wild map and hung on tight. Fun!

Hmmmm, six 2015 Factory edition only bikes for the whole of Australia isn't exactly what I'd call a model release.
And besides, I reckon you owe me a beer for helping you out of the bush :p

Haha yeah, good point. Pulling smelly socks off my busted legs is worth at least 6 beers.

I wonder how far away the 2016 450's are?
They'd want to keep a couple demo bikes around till they turn up.

Tommy, the 300 SEF-R is a good choice. They're very agile, easy to ride and have the right type of power for technical riding. It's slimmer and will perhaps "feel" smaller than your FE350. They have enough power but won't have as much as your 350. Just a little less on top end. At 98kg you'll want to put in heavier springs.

I haven't ridden the 450 unicorn so can't comment on that.

With some luck I'll get to ride the 450 Factory thisweekend.
My personal view on the 3004t is it lacks power (in racing version anyway) I haven't ridden the Factory one with better pipe and mapping.
Great nimble bike but you have to work it to keep it moving. The new WR250F engine is a better thing I my opinion.
Sherco is a better handler in the tight stuff

    I rode the factory.

    Tommy have you ridden a txc310r (or powered-up te310r)?

Power is similar but delivery is smoother on the Sherco, Husky has little more hit.

The Shercos have a reversible throttle cam for enduro/mx. It's best flipped to the quicker pull (mx) for little better throttle response in low rpm.
