    Well, the ignition didn't fail, but it wouldn't really run clean like it did before. So, after looking at all my options, I sold the WR300 a couple of weeks ago. I bought a 2021 Sherco 300SE Factory. Will hopefully pick it up this weekend.

    Will still hang around here from time to time, but I wanted to say thanks for all the great advice I received here over the last five years.

    Just to add an option for people fighting your same issue. I purchased the HPI kit for the WR, the external rotor with lighting coil. I have never had such a bright blue spark at kicking speed. It works great! I do recommend the fly wheel weight due to the rotor being much smaller than the OEM. Even with the flywheel weight, it is less than OEM but I really enjoy the response!! in terms of reliability, I have not had the system on long. but I have HPI's on my 2 stroke road race bikes with zero issues. My Dad also runs one on his IT175 that he vintage races.
