Hey Kevin It's Me Rick, I was crammed into the little white trailer right across from You during one of the rain sessions at the fall gathering (2006 TE450!) I'm going to be there at the race and I will be in the same shoes as You as I haven't raced in forty...yes that's 40 years and I've never done an enduro, just remember My dad telling stories of His days racing enduros (1940's and 50's). He said it's the most fun He ever had on a motorcycle! I'm really looking forward to it. I'm half tempted to try doing 100 miler! And is that Phaeton who He and His Son were heading the other way last year at China Hat and stopped to talk and introduce Me to Your Sons Rekluse Clutch?

    Hi Rick

Yes that was my son and I. If your going to get your feet wet racing this is a great race to do it in. If you have any questions ask away.

Sucks the 50 class is 50 miles / one loop. Not enough. sorry I;m not paying $70 plus all the other stuff to ride 50 miles of chinahat. I always like the second loop better. Want to race in my class but only 50 miles? no thanks.

You could ride Open Ex. Not sure why 50 for 50. There are a lot of 50 year olds that rip. $70.00 I know what you mean. Thankful to have sponsors to cover the entry fee costs as my son is racing and I am escorting.

I ride with 30-35 year old guys all the time. Would like to race a full race against 50 plus guys and see where i stack up. I think the 50 age is a tipping point and they should offer a 50 long and 50 short but thats just to messy I'm sure. With AMA, OMRA, race fee, travel and possibly hotel its almost impossible for me to justify even though i want to go. So I guess I enter the 40 class or open ex. Sucks. Might just pass this year.
