• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2015 North East Husky Gathering

all good....they are called dirt bikes right? and mud is still dirt right? if big rigs have an issue, dismount close by and ride bikes in. too easy and enough hospitality ther to keep all happy.
I have a cunning plan (as Baldrick says)

You have got yo be kiddin me .....good grief are these dirtbike rider coming or a bunch of nancy boys on scooters...
I could not for the life of me figure out what the hell you were talking about Norm. Ofcourse rain from a week earlier isn't going yo bother real men on Huskies. Must have been for those Jap bike riders....knock it off Norm !

I rode the XC loop and MX track today. Cortland got less rain this past week than I did at home 45 minutes away. A lot of limbs came down though, so I spent some time clearing trail.

Weather forecast is some rain Friday and good Saturday/Sunday. So No dust and fun racing!

XC loop is 4.5 miles and MX track is .80 mile long.

It's going to be fun!

I think
I can handle 4, One minutes moto's if they are spaced apart by a minimum of an hour or so..

damn internet.....keyboard might be broke too!
I meant 4 sequential 5 minute motos for us old timers!

Some early arrivals today, so we are underway! It rained all day, so dust will not be a problem tomorrow. Forecast for rest of weekend is nice, so come on out!
