It's been a while since I did it but I think I drilled the drain plug so the fuel could go in the sump that feeds the main jet without having to spill over the top of the well. It will be obvious when you have the bowl off and look at it.

Here are some photos from yesterday's ride. Very wet and rooty. AT81 did not like that.

Has anyone seen any fly wheel weights yet for a TE150?

Got a few things going on. I set the float height a 8mm +-0.25 and drilled the extra feed holes in the drain plug. On really steep hills it was leaning out. On flat it felt awesome. So I knew I was getting closer. So I set it to 7mm and that seems perfect. Still on stock jets/needles but way off the table. Will be ordering the JD kit soon. It runs great and WOT and under load on and off idle, if I'm higher in the rpm at part throttle and then go WOT it gurgles and goes nowhere.

As for the tires, just crap. Got a Kenda Equilibrium on it now. So so so much better. Just tractors over wet rocks and roots. Running it around 3-4psi on a heavy tube with no issues yet. This is a DOT tire somehow, but very very soft like a trials tire. I am in love. Will probably go with a mountain hybrid for a DOT front.

Here is a photo dump. AT81 - Equilibrium - D803GP. Some mapped out trails In a local riding area. My techno while I was welding the front fender brace back together.

Had to get down the road to my buddies shop last night in a bit of a snow storm. Figured fuck it and rode the bike. IMG_0163.JPG IMG_0165.JPG

Got my Obie link guard and Midwest Mountain Engineering levers. Link guard goes on easy with one hole drilled into the stock skid plate. It laps it pretty seamlessly. Don't really know what else to review with it. Looks like it will do exactly what it's supposed to. Had I know about the SXS skid plate with the extra case protection I may have gone that route. Not too concerned with the pipe side, I'm going to smash the pipe before I hit the water pump. But the other side of the case is still somewhat exposed. Will wait and see...

Got the levers installed. Build quality is so so. On the second op a part of the linkage they didn't have the piece aligned properly in the machine. Seems to be out by 20-30 thou. For these purposes it's not really a big deal. Kinda chunky on the vertical axis. My little girly fingers don't wrap around them as much as stock.

Enough shitting on them though. The clutch lever fucks with the piston throw. So longer but lighter engagement. I was getting pretty sore on the clutch hand riding this bike. And the lever was hitting the back of my other fingers. Will give a proper impression after this weekend.

So far little compares with how nicely my betas clutch and brake are setup. (Last picture)
