It is LOL. Very short. They roll out of town all day long in their protective white condom covers. No road grime or rain gets on them during transport from the plant to the dealer. Or, you can pick yours up at the Corvette Museum. They put your Vette in the "nursery" display in the museum until you get there. Folks touring the museum can check out your ride along with the other cars there.

Not talking about standing in a show room. Sitting astride on the bike riding it. Man, my ass isn't that sensitive I guess. They have felt the same to me. Poly or aluminum, subframe has never been something I've noticed between the two machines. Matter of fact, No real noticeable differences at all. That was the point I was making before.

Yes, rode KTM and Husky same day, at Highland Park. No difference to me. We'll just have to disagree on this. My experience has been Austrian Husky = white KTM.

OK back on topic!!-----TX300 Husky brand Mattighofen built bike.

    I know---
a Pontiac firebird=Chevrolet Camaro........the same way a Husky TX300=KTM300XC= lots different but the same base, move on

    Lets talk TX300-
so anyone of A or AA level racer level (expert or Pro) have any ride time with the AER forks yet? I want to know how they handle ugly rocky stuff, because I'm fairly certain they will be fine on flowing trails and natural terrain MX type stuff.
Truth is very clear*, I don't want to hear how good or fffd up these forks are from guys that ride trails slower than I run through the woods....

Jimmy Lewis' dirtbike test doesn't have one yet and Adam Riemann doesn't either. I trust those sources.

    * in the past I had been quite convinced of a poster that talked a big game-----until he posted H cam......and it put me to sleep in 20 seconds, I kept waiting for the next corner between the trees---nothing, just a 2 stroke coughing on its own carburation through the woods at 200 rpm.
He was talking about set up and I was listening.........this guy had no idea about the set up for even a weak intermediate rider. So I want to be clear you race expert- lets hear about these AER forks.

Only expert or pro riders have a valid opinion on forks and how they work/are set up? Not to argue, but expert and pro guys aren't running these or any fork stock. KTM/Husky doesn't send these out of the factory for just expert/pro's, you know what I mean.

not factory world class unobtanium parts guys and not some novice trail punters. Solid A level expert ammie or pro am racer reports, that's what I want. This aint T Talk with 10000 opinions from 10000 maniacs.

At a national hare scramble in my state three expert level privateers and one Joe Schmo got their KTMs stolen. On the wanted poster pics and description all three fast guys had Ohlins front and back. I'm not an A level fast guy but I did park my motorcycle in my room at a Best Western.
