ET is a pure racing animal who normally handles himself on and off the track with grace. Poor JA, nor anyone else has an answer for him yet. Let’s hope some of these other well prepared and supplied athletes can step up in the coming weeks. He is definitely not boring. We might have been watching different races.
I do think if Barcia can run a clean race it puts him on the box. I like the “new” bam bam. I think he gives the best podium speech.
Anderson put in some excellent lap times in moto 2 but unfortunately it appeared to me his stamina wasn't up to par with Tomacs. When the commentator said JA's clutch may be slipping I thought he just looked tired, especially going up the the hill where Tomac passed him. If JA's had a fired clutch I think he would have mentioned it on the podium. Zach Osbornes tank slapper, highside combo was classic. Any aggressive riding weekend warrior has a story or two about their own version of that crash.
Anderson out for season after an off track collision with an ammie at GH......Wilson out for season with an on track collision at GH-----IMHO 100% responsibility is with the team management. No other professional motorsport would ever field their top tier pros anywhere near ammies ( even local pro-ammies). Dumb Dumb and Dumber. 2 top tier Husky pilots out. Andersons foot compound fracture....
PS if I was Anderson.....I would have the bitch set, stitched, anti bio slathered and shot up with painkiller and race. And thinking I know his character he will do that.
I'm impressed with Roczens performance so far. I thought it would take longer for him to reach the level of performance he demonstrated at Thunder Valley. Is it possible the only thing he lacks is his previous fitness level, or are his arms feeling ill effects from the beating the 30min motos provide?
I think physically he’s tired. He knows how to ride fast for sure. Mentally it has to be challenging.
