Maybe they are monster sized guys I am very petite a 6'2" and 300lbs so I am very light on the kicker.

    Piston and gaskets came in.
Got my spring compresser back and started to remove springs for a valve job.
Lash caps were so stuck i had to heat them a bit to get them off.
They have wear on 2 and might of lost the heat treating, can i buy them new some where?

and OMG 1 exhaust valve broke, taking it apart.
    no hammers were used...

the die grinder action wouldnt be too surprising, considering the ports of the 2 strokes. the valve is scary tho, good thing you tore it down for some real valves!

Wow, good thing you took it apart when you did! Just think the damage that valve would of done. The die grinder mark doesn't surprize me but the curious thing is it's more visible in only one port.

    that port was cleaner.
Did all the ports, cleaned up and blended.
Tried lapping the valves, 1 is off a bit so a 3 angle grind is next.

The ports look pretty good. Should be strong when you are done freshening things up. Time for a cam? :D

over heated and stretched i'd say. Heat is a nasty thing, and what it does things to metal, you sometimes can't believe

Well i got 3 vavles lapped and sealing nice, the last intake is a no go.
The seat is not the touching the valve on 1/3 of it, so there is the reason for such low compression.
I spray checked the exhaust with brake clean and saw some wetness come though but never did the intakes lol
Got a guy to do a 3 angle grind and i hope he can sort it out Monday
Its only a hair line gap between the seat and valve.

That will be a quick cut on the seat. A mild cam for torque would be awesome. More torque = :D

So I thought someone has to have a cam for your engine but it sure doesn't look like it after some online searching.
Looks like you would have to send one out to be modified & that adds time to your project. Silly me. Might as well increase the valve dia. instead....:D

could be it doesnt need or respond to a cam very well. may already have a good cam for a good spread of power. its not like the swedes were limited by emissions or noise, altho technology has improved i guess. george at uptite would be a good one to ask about mods

George at UpTite makes a great cam for the 510. I have one in both of my 510's and it really wakes them up. Good, strong, usable power from top to bottom. Combine that with a good free flowing exhaust and hang on Tite...
