Not at all happy. Every person I have talked to about suspension work ( Ty Davis, Kreft, Stillwell) and other numerous reliable sources that I read or didn't speak too personally, all said the same thing. They don't flow!!!

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you weigh, prior to riding gear? (I Know, BigTimmy...LOL) I'm 225 lbs before gear. .48 fork springs and 6.2 shock.

Don't hesitate on the forks. Get the 4CS asymmetrical setup ASAP. You'll want to give me a hug if we ever meet. (A man hug with fists) LOL

Came to the same conclusion... sadly. I'm not that good off road as I come from road bike back ground, try to learn and pick up from others. I always had issues with the FE501 while turning in and I thought it was me. After heaps of advise on setup and where to sit I came to the conclusion that I was not that bad at all and most of the clickers and sag was pretty much in the ball park. I rode a bike with the forks fixed yesterday from a chap who is about similar statue, and what a revelation! Suddenly I have confidence and can ride. Pretty pissed off that I have to spend another grand on top of an expensive bike to be able to enjoy it fully!
Love the rest of the bike but the forks are crap! All for a $1000 refund on the forks.

Oil starved is it summed up. And they hydro-lock at times. The anti bottom valve helps to slow the last part of the travel but it also limits the speed of rebound in a negative way. They are a mess in stock form. Great concept, but poor R&D and inferior components. Once they are sorted...Yeeehaaaw! I took my kids out this afternoon after church and we rode around some trails for a few hours. I'm quite in love with these forks know.

MX-TECH did mine. They are local to me but Jeremy, the owner, is the one who designed the fix for this fork. Others buy his parts and install the 4CS asymmetrical system. I'm lucky to have him as an resource.

I did a 3 hour race yesterday , I can't tell you how much i want my parts from kreft to turn up , there were many gritted teeth moments I can tell you .
I backed off the compression to a point where it was reasonably comfortable on my wrists through the small stuff , only to bottom on the bigger stuff .

Despite all the negatives about these forks I went with the 2015 TE300 over the Sherco SER. Very very tough decision as the Sherco is one beautiful bike with nothing but good things said about it. It's finished nicely and quality looks very high. In the end though the local dealership and incentives was just too much to pass up with the Husky. I know that folks are sending these forks out to Kreft, Stillwell, MXTech, ZipTy and other places with great success or varying degrees of it. I've also seen a few folks that have used PG Suspension, which we know are specialized with WP. My question for the group here is who has used PG, where do you ride and how happy are you with the results? (actually that's 3 questions :))

I've talked to PG and they seem to be pretty confident they have it sorted out. Knowing they work directly with WP gives them some added credibility in my mind. Assuming I'm going to have similar issues with the action on theses forks I'd consider them pending hearing other's results.

I have had several people tell me their stock Sherco forks are some of the best they have ever used off road. Seems they got it right.

Im sure PG is good but I'm sure they bought their way into being a WP authorized suspension company. All the other companies you mentioned earned their reputation. Can't really say one is better then the other nut I wouldn't assume a WP suspension company is better.

You are correct, after all WP unloaded this crap on the public.

Kreft has a couple posts showing the revised 2016' KTM 4cs which PG had a hand in. They have basically taken out parts and given up on getting it to work. I wasn't inspired after talking to PG.

There's definitely something to be said for that. I thought choosing the bike would be the hardest decision, but where to get the suspenders fixed may be equally tough.

Why don't you try riding it first, you may luck out and be one of the guys that loves it stock ;)

I'd vote Stillwell because we haven't had a test on here yet lol. I thought for sure BigTimmy would use them being in AZ and all but seems he's going with Kreft.

I'll definitely put time on the bike and let things break in a bit before making any suspension changes. Yeah maybe I'll be the other guy that likes them out of the box. He needs some company lol.

Stillwell's front page on their website claims they are the 4CS experts, but so do others. Their riders sure are doing well in GNCC with their 4CS setup, but they could likely win on crappy suspension they are so fast. I'm heading out to Phoenix in a few weeks to visit my daughter. If I went with Stillwell I could swing up to Scottsdale and drop them in person!

Hour meter? The one on the bike works really good on my 2014. Did they remove it from the 2015 models? Doubtful on the frame guards. Seems we're limited due to the composite subframes.

Cool, yeah your OEM one will not reset so I get it. You can set the wrench to light up at set hour intervals if you really want to. I just write everything down when I do it and ride. I'm at 70 hours and 2000 miles now. Still feels like new. Enjoy the bike

Bummer on the xframe guards. They looked promising, I guess we wait.

This 'almost' has something to do with 4CS issues... (got that from RayRay!)
