Had a 2011 fe 390, same shit, bad engine heat, fuel boiling etc, but the best suspension ive every ridden and that was straight out of the box !!! good trail bike or for dual sports but a horrible enduro bike ! As far as the WR 300 yeah got one of those too, great bike but the suspension is harsh and abrupt! especially if your going from the berg, I scraped my stock front forks and got a set of new take off CC FORKS FROM A 2012 tc499 had them redone by WER and its a whole new machine !!! youll also want to change to a Keihin PWK Carb ,move the brake pedal out and get a TEC from provini

I'd like to discontinue my account

Thats to bad that you guys didn't have good luck with yours, Mine runs like a Swiss watch and never misses a beat, when it gets hot the fan kicks in and I ceramic coated the exhaust so no heat issue with gas, I run it on the Low map in races and it runs like torque monster 450 and yes I do get to pin in wide open on occasions during a race. The 2011 fe570S that I have did get Enduro of the year from more than one reviewer but it is fairly heavy for scrambles.

In any case I'm looking forward to picking up the New Husky Saturday and adding a lighter weapon to the arsenal! Looking for some good 2 stroke oil now?? Amsoil is available or I can get a discount on royal purple?

Motorex Crosspower 2T for my WR300. Expensive, but it can be run at high dilution (50 or 60 to 1) and really keeps the engine clean and wear low.

why do you run yours so fat if you dont mind me asking? I don't think the WFO desert doods even run it that fat...your off idle response will increase 10 fold in sensitivity with a higher gas/oil ratio.

I have a wr150 with a lectron and I like running small bores at that ratio. I have my carb adjusted to that ratio and throttle response is crisp with no bogs or flat spots and no spooge. If I had a 250 or a 300, I would run the same oil at 40:1. I ride mostly tight single-track but I am wfo some-times and that ratio works for me.

Please list the mods. I thought a bike ridden in that event by a serious contender would have the same or better level of prep as a bike sold to a local rider by a dealership. Bone stock frame? Did you prep it by chance?
