I liked this set up but agree on how much protection they afford, I opted for a set of econo hand guard bard from Cycle Gear ....Now I have looks and protection too....Sometimes we pay more for what we want and what's available it's all good.
So there I was at Tractor Supply when I saw this... And the specs were really good, comparable to LEDs ten times more expensive from moto companies. Granted, they are 3", but I figured I'd take a chance. Worst case scenario is that then end up on my trailer. So I mounted them up to my Barkbuster bracket. And these suckers are so much brighter than my old school Motolights from earlier in this thread. And I should have no problems spotting the wild boar and elk running out in front of me on the way to work now. (Pardon the messy yard. I'm kidsitting this weekend.)
