Neat. Never heard of that model. $200 doesn't sound bad, until you realize that the cost of a bike has gone up approximately 5X, so that's like another $1000 added on... so just like a current KTM Six Days package?

I do not have the machinery at home I used to but I do have a 20 ton hydraulic press to play with and access to a vocational school with all the machinery I used to have plus much more. Last day of school was the 20th and little access now until September.

I have a press at home. One of those "how did I ever live without this" tools.

SteveF--That looks great. Beyond my capabilities, but looks great. There's a market (maybe small) for those if you want to make them. Some of the talent displayed on this site is pretty amazing.

Thank you KIM750:) I only had the time for a one off, but still have the CAD model, perhaps down the road something could happen;)

I have all kinds of CAD software so if the file is less than 7 meg file, you can email the file to me. Also let me know what software or use generic like parasolid or STEP. PM me

Hi jimspac, thanks for your interest. I modeled the kick starter with Unigraphics NX 10. I can send you a screen shot like the one above, but as for the real part file, that I'm going to sit on "just in case" I find a way to proceed with making, or farming out some more of these:<) I have a lot of time and machining in it, hope you understand

    Cheers, Steve

I would be happy to buy one if you have them made. I was toying with the idea when I got a replacement kick starter lever for my 86 KX250. I as going to get another and make a reverse image knuckle with that nice forged steel and chrome KX lever

Hi Steve, I wondered whether you had made any more of these or would consider making another, and at what cost?

    Many thanks
