Do you ride Hancock every year? Maybe something different is in order? You can ride Hancock one day or the other and come up to Gathering the other day. It will be a little different this year, combined with the enduro.... More non-Huskys. But you won't find another event in the NE, where you'll hang with so many Huskys, as the Gathering!
I may have to go to a course the first week of August but if not, Id like to attend this event Fri thru Sun and Im lovin the idea of open practice and a race. I hope I can make it. Whats the total cost?

The Northeast Husky Gathering is coming at ya’ soon! Mark your calendars......tell the boss you won't be in.....pack the gear and bikes! This year’s event will be held 02 thru 04 August 2013. Who: For those who are unaware of this annual event as it goes into its seventh year, it is a get-together of Husqvarna owners and riders as well as vintage riders The bikes...not always the riders..... LOL). . Due to us Husky guys being a little older, many bring their kids, spouse and/or girlfriend. What: There is an old school ribboned and bannered grass track MX Scrambles style track as well as a lengthy arrowed Enduro trail loop. You will meet good people to ride with and have an all-around good time. There's a huge raffle, with lots of stuff from event sponsors. You need to bring at least one Husqvarna or an any make vintage bike. (All non- water cooled non disc are welcome…if in doubt about what is vintage…ask us…we are lenient!) (Other modern makes ridden by a friend or family members are OK, as long as a “Sponsor” with a Husky or vintage is in attendance.) There is a vintage bike parade lap, a lot of Free riding and some scheduled fun events. We will be co-sanctioning this years event to support a local club as they have their 1st closed course endure.Enduro, Start Control Format/National Style, Close Course. No plate lights timekeeping needed. Thinking about racing for the first time…try this. Where: The location is at a new spot located at 684 Center Road, Genoa, NY, 13071. (Arrows will be up on event days to facilitate guiding the Husky faithful) There is ample level parking. When: Friday: Sign up will open at 8:00 AM, trail opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM, Saturday: Sign up will open at 8:00 AM, trail opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM, Sunday: Key time is at 9:00. Trail opens right after last row leaves from Start Control and will close at 3:00PM Awards and Raffles at end of each day. Evening camp fire and bike videos on big screen. Why: The Gathering is strictly for fun, not for profit. Proceeds from the event will help support Team USA riders efforts at the 88th I.S.D.E in Italy in September 2013. How (much): $50 for all 3 days. Shirt included like every year. Details to follow if you want to race on Sunday (as opposed to just trail ride Sunday) Lets chat it up!
Looks like a great event and wish I could make it. Double booked that weekend. I will have to be there for the next one or something else in the East. Have fun, get some pics!
Might be nice to update post #1 in this thread with things like: Who is invited Where is it located What the event will actually be - possibly with a picture from an earlier gathering if possible When the will be held etc Or possibly a link to another site or pdf? I did dig through the thread and see some early August dates being discussed.. but since Joe started this thread maybe he could do it?

Chilly is entered in the PA National Enduro the week before. Possibly we can get him to hang out for the week and come to Husky Gathering? Thinking as I'm typing.... Steve Hatch is in town until October, so maybe he can entertain Chilly for the week? I'll do some checking.
I am gonna be at the Rattlesnake Natl on 27th of Jul...may even ride a 83 125....got the vintage fever! Norm will be there as well. Stop by and say hey and we can answer any details as well. All right...we are less than a month out. who is coming? Any family, kids etc? asking as many dont fall into what sizes we get for shirts. Non riding are $15 if they want a shirt. lets chat it up Joe

hey all....Short time to theGathering and the first Enduro that goes with it. All closed course.....no tags and no timekeping. Old NEPG scoring (using start control and all to the E check check out.) According to the Enduro Trail boss, 100% payback for AA and $1000 to the Grand Chanpion. Closed course 21 mile loop. All do 2 laps. AA and A do an extra 7 mile "thriller" at end using some challenging stuff. Vintage class as well and vintage A, B and C class with vintage plaques. Riders who want to ride in a non competetive status can trail ride it and leave 2 minutes aftr the last row. Fire house will do a chicken dinner but we need to know how many so chime in or you miss out. Seen far too much starving worldwide to order food to throw away son no shout...no bird for you! In recognition of Italian made moving to Austria (not saying wheter good or bad so dont comment please) heres a sneak at this years front of shirt
