84 WR250 came home today

oh man IT's! had a '84 (i think?) 490 with a YZ piston i think i had some some port work too with a DG pipe etc. etc....loved the smaller IT's awesome goat trail bikes darn near climb anything and fast with that 6-speed. small displacement last generation IT's like the 200 were the best air coolers around IMO love those things.

the last gen it's were pretty good. mate had a 490 L and was keen to ride my husky. i was stunned at how good the forks brakes and motor were. even the shock was great....for some reason here the k and L IT big bores are worth a fortune...10k+ all the time?

the early its with the big monoshock were a drama...over the bars city if more than 3 bumps were hit in a row

you mean on the clutch cover?

I guess this is why it hold 1600cc's of gear oil.... cause 600 will be on the floor before you roll out of the garage,,, ha ha !

Husky oil leak at the shifter shaft. That’s an o ring. I have that o ring in my dresser junk draw for over 25 years now.
