You guys are making me nervous. I just put a 40 pilot in my 38 PWK on my 04 WR250. It seems like everyone runs a 45, but my bike burbbles off idle with even a 42.5 pilot. I just rode it tonight and it runs crisp and rips with the 40. I wonder if I should go back to the 42.5 and live with the burbble to be safe.

Good job Kelly. That bike makes a really nice addition to your fleet.
I need to post a pic of the 430XC sometime.

Post a pic? We need to get out and ride. I have made some offers on 430's as they seem like a cool bike.

So the WXC lives. As thought it has a good bit more power. I thought it had a huge flywheel, now I'm not sure it was not just low compression as it JUMPS now. Great snappy power top to bottom. Runs fantastic. I left the 55 pilot, went 2 grooves richer on the "G" needle putting it in the middle position. Went from a 168 to a 172 main. Bike rips all over and does not feel rich really. The tail pipe is a little wet but that's OK.

OH! the pipe on this thing weights a TON I was told it is thick double wall with sound deadening in between. I believe it. I bet I could loose about 8 pounds swapping it out. I do like that it is quiet and indestructible though.
