Yeah, my brother was riding his Harley on some county road at night when a deer started running beside him.[see a pattern here]? Anyway the deer bolted into him & sent him flying down the road. A pickup truck come past my brother on the road & picked the deer up & left! We found the truck & owner the next day & told him how pitiful he was in so many words. He didn't have much to say!

Not stopping to see if your brother was alright was pretty lame.

I haven't been back up there since, and that's my favorite road - see photo below. :banghead:

I was riding around a town Bright in Vic and a small roo hit me smack bang in the middle of the front wheel. It all happen so quick I stop, thought WTF had a look around and saw the bloody thing bouncing away. What gets me, they have all the time in the world, Its not as if they have to be home by five to cook tea for the wife or something. Why do they do that??? Its not as if they see a bear or something and say hey, come and eat me and then run towards it. What tha !

I had my deer run in , in April on my TE630. I went for the ditch , missed the deer , but managed to clobber a dead tree laying in the ditch around 25mph or so .Myself and my husky went end over end a few times .I got a few lumps and got to buy a new helmet out of it . My 630 ...she faired ok ...lost my headlight assembly and dash panel :( . Rode her home though ..straight as a arrow ...one tuff bike ! Riding again and enjoying it ...but waiting on a couple of plastic parts for the headlight ...come on Mario dude that makes my plastic ...hurry up allready and send my parts ....please !

I have had many close calls, and being from central MN we have to many freaking deer around this neck of the woods!!! I know a guy who hit one and killed the deer many years ago! He broke his hand is all that hapened to him. I can not remember the status on his bike. I myself DO NOT think about them or it will ruin my concentration and I may hit and even more dangerous (or deadly) stationary obect a TREE (Hit one wide open in second in 94 on a WR250 Not good 3 tubes of water sucked out of each knee, stiches and a cast! The pain in my legs was so extreme I at first did not even know that my thumb was completly rotated backwards! That bike had (93) BAD stock suspension!
