Thanks for the idea. I'll try to fab something up this weekend athough the stand is not high priority atm. Well, it seems like 2" from stock height...Never measured it. I prefer to have a flat base than not have it, so yeah, please ship the foot loose. I'll get it welded it up level with the bike. Thanks!

With paintman the list is full for now. I'm taking the last "new" stand so that's twenty. As for status, waiting on the machined lugs, then I have to get the stop plates made. After that, they can go together; a couple of weeks at the minimum. Thanks to everyone for being patient, and I will keep everyone updated. Hope to have a final price shortly.
I probably have enough material to make a few more but my machinist has finished the first run of lugs. Let me get these together and I'll see how many more I can put together.
I have a cost to put these together although a few items are still estimates. I don't think the final price will vary much though. Price per stand, $132.00 plus shipping. You will need to use your existing springs and link plate. Stands will be primed and painted, but not powdercoated, to keep the cost down. Anyone who wants to powder coat on your own, let me know and I will ship bare metal. Do not pay at this time as I want to get the stands together first, maybe two weeks or a bit more. I would prefer Paypal and I will provide details when they are ready to go.
OK folks, here is an update. We start welding tomorrow, and with luck one day will get all of the stands put together. Once that's done I can give everyone a final price. 'Had a real heart burn on this last week due to actions of my machinist. To make a long story shorter, instead of doing the work himself, he subcontracted it, without confirming cost or talking to me. Grrrrrr. The cost to me was 4x the price originally quoted! I could have let him eat it, but he is literally a Mom and Pop operation, and has always treated me very fairly in the past. I have decided to absorb most of the increased cost and do these for actual cost to me, mainly because I have gotten a kick out of doing it. SilverBullet will be helping out too as we will be in production mode and the extra hands will be appreciated. Everyone on the list has first dibs on the stands but I would like to move them out as soon as I can. As soon as the weather cooperates paint will go on. Those on the list will get first call for several weeks, and then anyone else who is interested. Stay tuned.....

Stands are complete. I will start a separate thread and list those who have spoken up. Without counting there may be a one or two more, but there will not be any more! I do have to paint, but it's raining so I'll look forward to sunshine on Sunday to do that. Those taking their stands bare can procede. Look at new post for details on ordering. I just came to the end of the time and effort I am willing to put out to get a TE630. I also realized I wasn't comfortable supporting the Husky brand after how my situation has been handled. Picked up a 2010 KTM 690 Enduro R on Sat. TE630 is obviously a great bike, and this site is a gold mine for Husky owners. Especially with people on here like Ken willing to build custom sidestands! Truly a great community here. End threadjack.
Anyone know if i can get a replacement stand . Only have my 630 a few weeks but the stand is crap . I put a 1.5mm steel strip in to stop it going forward to much but getting the stand up or down is tricky as i have to lean to bike way over to the right everytime .
Stujam, if you don't find one of my stands, and you probably won't, your best bet is to buy a stock steel stand for a TE610, as I did, and modify it like on my prototype. I'm still using that stand and didn't even save one of my "production" units for myself. All were sold. It just takes a bit of work with a hack saw and some welding to get it done. Look at my earlier thread to see what was done. With the 610 stand reinforced and the length corrected you will be happy with the result. I think I have some stop plates in a box somewhere and I could get you one of those. I welded a stop tab onto the frame on my bike but the stop plate is much easier. Of course you could make one of those too; hack saw, grinder and a drill. Just little elbow grease goes a long way.
I'm in as well if you ever do a second run, the stock one is a piece of a crap. Wish I could find a centre stand...
