If i were to do this, would also get the cycra yz front number plate, it will complement the fender better.

I ordered my YZF fender yesterday from Rocky Mountain ATV. I'll post pictures next week ('08 WR250)...

Inklax - Did you get the red "H" decal on your new fender from the Husqvarna dealer? I had a couple of extra because they were thick and well made. At the moment, I can't find them...

is this a fender and number plate combo? If not, how much does the fender only go for? How hard to install , love my 04

OK, I went with the Cycra brand. Had to drill 2 holes and take a little heat to the back side so it wouldn't rub the frame and radiator guards. After the photo, I added the red "H" to the tip. The fender shape and lines match the bike better IMO.

looks good. Do you have a different seat on there than stock or is it cut down some? also the hand holes to pick the bike up look bigger than on my 310.

Connor - I'm running the stock seat. I think my fender photo was at a strange angle. Here's a side shot...

What kind of pipe guard is that? Looks heavy duty. I like it.

Both the fender and number plate from a TC/TXC 449/511. Kinda need to run the number plate too because it mounts higher due to the fender. Was quite inexpensive from Bills. Can't remember but was inexpensive.

My Pipe Guard is a 'Hyde'. It comes as one big ugly unit that includes the skid plate. I cut out the mid section between the pipe and the plate. You can clean up the rough edges with a box knife and even buzz the edges with a torch to give it a smooth finish. IMO, it is much better than carbon fiber. The Hyde unit has a little 'flex' so on impact you're not bending the pipe up at the head.

Pretty happy with how it looks in black. Rear two holes were perfect, just drilled new front ones to suit and fits like it was made for it. Doesnt rub, even with the radiator guards. The best thing but? I loved the X2 headlight when I saw pics of it on the net (on other bikes, KTMs ect.) but once I got mine installed, I thought it looked terrible on my bike. After the fender swap it now looks great IMO, I think it just didn't match the 1983 style husky fender.

I installed a YZ fender a couple months ago, after smashing mine into a tree. I recently installed a tool bag on my front fender and it flops around like a wet noodle. Anyone figure out a brace for the YZ fender?

lol i smashed mine into a tree as well, i already ordered another one for it haha but no I don't know of a brace for it. Mine has been pretty sturdy (even after hitting the tree).
