Yeah, Lectrons from what I've seen are 100% On/Off (2 modes ONLY) Drag racing carbs. That might get you killed on a Husky TR650 unless you are drag racing. Since KTM already did a 660(?) cc Duke version in 1997 yielding 50 hp+ w/a Single Del Orto, I still think that is the deluxe carb alternative for any 650cc Rotax engine. I already got a used 2 in 1 Bombardier DS650 intake manifold off ebay for $20 for my 1997 F650 ST (same exact engine for Bombardier 2000 to 2008 - Top Pic (from ebay if it disapears).) After posting 2 side by side heads (bottom pic is TR650 reposted above for convenience), I just remembered that this was the bottom up totally redesigned EFI 650 engine via the Cylinder head, so nothing in 20th century may work, UNLESS you go to a Lectron drag racing carb. But that kind of takes the skill and fun out of motorcycling to me anyway - and would be dangerous as hell! ymmv
Nope, sold over 300 or them for everything from 80's to DR650's. Installed one this weekend on a older FE501 berg, made it start right and rip. As for the TR650 i think it is going to be to much crap to make it work and no one is interested. Makes sense. Thanks.
