HA!! Come on motor sportz!! Real men wear pink!!! And can get away with it! Bet ur butt if I could have a pink TM to parade around on I would do so with pride. My wife gave me grief when I bought a new 2010 Furious Fushia dodge Challenger! But hey it looked more raspberry then pink! LOL I saw a pink TM many many moons ago some where in Minnesota. In a sick sense it looked alright! Research shows the late model 250's and 300's not to be such a handful and the chassis is supposed to have much more flex then a Honda CR. I am determained to make it work and have spent enough cash that it will have to work this year!! When the snow melts and she is dialed I will give a fair review of the bike. If it is junk or handles bad I will say it like it is! I got it for a decent price so if I don't like it I'll move back to a 144 (I mean a 165!!) Thanks for the help! Still looking for a used stepchild to go with my new stepchild! Anyone know where there is one and the closer to MN the better !!

Great bikes! I have a 2009 EN300, it was quite tame until I removed the 380gram flywheel for the Lightning-coil, is almost a mx bike now.
From 2011 they have the lightning coil integrated with the ignition (the way it should be), since 2012 new crankcase for more lowend.
Since 2008 a lot of changes were made to engine characteristics, (different head, porting, crankcase, CDI, mapping etc.).
The 2012 and up are quite a bit easier to ride then older.

The great thing about a TM is that it is a real race bike, don't ever compare them to a KTM (especially the exc250 and 300) totally different animal.
A TM EN250/300 can be used for Enduro but can be used for MX also (without mods).

Great bikes, especially the alloy frames! quality is very good, although the fit and finish of the powervalve and ignition cap can be somewhat of.
The sandcast crankcase looks a bit rough but it does the job fine.

thats makes more sense to me somehow. :) The early TM's just seem like oddly built, hard to get parts for KX250's to me. But point taken

Ha Ha wait a minute Mr Motosportz. Are you not the same guy that likes riding old bikes and having fun Ok so it is a 99. Looks like I have a deal worked out and am picking up this weekend!!! Why do I like AMC Javelins and Gremlins! I am not sure??? Why did I drool back in the mid eighties over Husqvarna dirtbikes?? The 99 is a fun move because I will go over the bike and it will be my practice bike to match (well sort of) It's big bad brother And there is certainly enjoyment riding a dinosaur and beating buddy's on new shiny Orange bikes or whatever flavor!!! Point well taken it's and Italian Husky!! U can still get parts and I like freak bikes that actually work. Truth be told a good rider can ride almost anything fast except mayby and old Suzuki RMX LOL and some people will argue that point. So why do I want it. Simply because I can and it sounds fun to me.............................

Got the 99 TM 250!! Yes!! Pipey and fast!!! Ordered handguards and have to put in new wheelbearings other then that looking good!! Also the 12 250 just got dropped off and should see in 6-8 days!!! Bought a 2011 DRZ 400 on Friday rode it sat and sunday and sold it on Monday! Not a bad bike at all just for some reason (had fmf pipe and a filter and rejet) Very fussy to restart when hot! So I picked up a 2009 Honda CRF 230M with 5 miles on it for a good price and having fun!!! And rode the Honda CR 250 practice bike a tish. Just having a blast but want my 2012 TM 250 !! Wanted to grab a new Husky and still may. Got a pretty good deal worked out on a 2014 TXC 250 with FMF pipe installed and remap..................... However my wife reminds me we are not made out of money!.......................LOL I'll have the weapon but my knee says different!! The 99 feels decent and even has brembo brakes that feel pretty good! Engine is a beast. lights up on the first kick no problem. NEED TO GET IN THE WOODS SOON!!! SNOW IS ALMOST GONE !!!

ALSO NOTE THERE IS A COOL 01 TM 125 WITH AND ERIC GORR 155 KIT FOR SALE ON EBAY. fAR FROM ME!

CAM Im with you!! Blue and white. For now. I will see where the KTM thing goes and keep and open mind. The Italian thing is burnt into me a tish. And Beta I'm not sure of but Iv'e ALWAYS wanted to try a TM. Just never was really forced to like now! I ruled out ALOT of bikes for various reasons and BINGO the only real alternative left for me was TM. As soon as I get these things together I will do some serious testing and tell it like I really see it. Good bad or ugly!! To everyone who has helped me get these two bikes. Thank you so much ! I got a smoking deal on the 12 with only 16 hours on it!! $4,500. plus 150 plus 150 plus 350. For a total of $5,150 !!! I'm stoked and the 99 with fuel etc... I'm at (wait a minute I made $200 on the DRZ) $1,400 not to bad for fun!!! Thanks much. Photos soon..... you guys have any????

Hey thats awesome you bought that 99. What kind of shape is it in? Looked pretty mint.

I bought a honda cr250 2003 over the weekend well traded for it. Traded a 250f and he threw in 900$. Going to go through the whole bike, new top and bottom end, bearings, tires, grips, levers, pegs, get the suspension serviced. Ill be just a bit over 900 but its gonna be like new mechanically is the goal. Just happy to have 2 strokes in the garage again. 4 trokes work really well and i gdt along great with them, but they are too mainstream, too boring, handle too slow, and sound like an angry tractor.

    I prefer angry wasps anyday!

I got the husky cr125 and honda cr250
    Cr brothers from another mother!
