Well the way I see it... we only have a 50/50 chance of getting those parts....and heck in canada.. we only have a 10 percent chance of that....:lol:

To be honest and to husky's credit...they could have ignored this issue and only dealt with those that really complained the loudest.....but they chose to "put it up front" and admitted there was a problem or two....

although the parts program is still on the slow side....it shows the communication and PR are on the right track

Norm....I guess you'll let Fran and the boys do your upgrade??? It will be interesting to hear your first ride report with the upgrade

I just got back with my bike. Fran's Service Manager Harvey, went right to work on it after his late lunch today. I ran down and picked it up, just before closing time. Fran took me out to eat and home I went, getting in about 10:00PM EDST (270 mile round trip). Harvey test rode it and said mid range is awesome! I've got 2 busy workdays, so won't get to ride it until Friday, but can't wait!:D No motor mounts yet, but should be soon.

Powervalve is longer and has a slightly different profile, which makes for a smaller exhaust port. I'll give a ride report soon.

Way to go Norm. Let us know when you get a chance.

I do agree with Troy we are on the right track and I'm glad Husky is doing it's best. It must be hard for all. Factory, Importer, Dealers to name a few.

Not just the owners of our bikes.

It will come together soon enough.

Great first report! I'm still waiting on my engine mounts too. We've been through 2 sets of the original style until Gerald at Upstate suggested removing the top rear bolt. After that, we've been on the same set of brackets for several races with no indications of cracking. You may want to give that a shot until the new ones arrive.

When Cody gets to ride my 300, the only thing he can say is "scarey". But alas, if ONLY the 300 could be flicked around as effortlessly as our CR 125! If you could somehow mate the 300's punch with the 125's agility it would be dirtbike nirvana. :notworthy:

Husky has really been missing the boat by not providing a WR200 like we have been shouting for for years. Come on husky.... PLEASE!

I think you're absolutely right. A 200, while not the beast the 300 is, would probably make just enough power and be light enough to be the ultimate tossable woods bike.

KTM sells the crap out of them because it is a great power / weigh ratio.

As Norm said, Powervalve is longer and has a slightly different profile, which makes for a smaller exhaust port. This will definiteley move the PB lower nad give the mid more hit and cure the "lag woes" of it spooling up as a 125 should. Just my 2 ents

I think the issue is investment.....as they cant use the 250/300 cases...as the frame is unique to that RH layout....

and there is not enough counterweight or crank dia in the 125 cases....

it would interesting to see a new ultra small 2T 200/250 case type motor....that would fit in the new frame.....hmm...

I bet husky is already doing the math.....

I wonder who will be the pipe manufacturer for the changed up WR pipe....might be coincidence but FMF has just released a turbine core 2 for the 09 WR125...

Where did you see this info about sparky. I looked at FMF site not too long ago, no listing. After your dealings with FMF, I'm not too excited about FMF.

I found this while perusing the FMF site......it got me thinking :thinking:maybe there is more to the rumor about husky aproaching FMF for a sparky design....makes sense after all if they needed a US approved one...

I have emailed FMF.....perhaps they may be willing to come good and wipe the slate clean with me.....or perhaps not :bonk:
